F[u]ck the police!
This is why cops should be shot on sight.

I worked with Aholes like this every day for 9 years, bullies with a badge and a gun who couldn`t wait to get out and make people miserable.

And we`re not talking about one or two, I`m talking about 90+% of the entire department.

I became a cop to help people. After 9 years, I could no longer stomach what I saw cops do every day and that is why I am now an unrepentant cop hater.

Cops are worthless. They are not there to help you. The only thing a cop can do is write tickets and make arrests, Period.
So when the only tool in your toolbox is a hammer, all problems look like nails.

Cops do NOT stop crime! At best, they file reports of a crime after the fact.

Take it from a disillusioned ex-cop. Just f[u]cking shoot the motherhumpers on sight.

F[u]ck the police.

@nettech98, Both Terry and Hibel require that the police MUST have "reasonable suspicion." These @$$holes obviously had no such thing.

I`ll say it again, this $#!+ will not end until we start putting these Nazi bastards in prison for felony armed criminal action.

Those cops have potty mouths...

@Patchouly: How liberal of you to think that cops should be allowed to beat people without rhyme or reason! Nice!

Anyhow: Small wonder people have a poor view of police, and small wonder the police get tired of dealing with these sorts of jerks...

Arrest them for j-walking? These cops went from "cops" to "pigs" at around the 6 minute mark...

patchouly,

Most cops are professionals and, in my experience, act like it, even under pressure (and these guys were not under pressure, they were looking to apply pressure).

Not an excuse for throwing your weight around because you have a badge.

I think this only exposes how stupid the drug war is. The Cops should be allowed to do their jobs. IE go after people that hurt or trample on the rights of others. Send em to the bankers/CEO`s so they can start arresting the real criminals.

Also we do have rights. Like it or not it`s what protects everyone. The Cops may not like it but they should play by the rules. Rights are rights love em or hate em. These cops should be out busting REAL criminals not these lowlifes. As long as they aren`t infringing anyone else rights I have no problem with what they are doing.

But...I should add that they are certainly getting fed up with the lies and B.S. It has caused them to react in an inappropriate and unprofessional way. These guys need a vacation and, in general, cops need more support from the public. It`s not easy to be the guys who have to deal with this stuff, ten times a day.

These cops are clearly a$$holes. Regardless of if they had probable cause to search them, the fact that they told them "don`t come to f*cking Philadelphia, stay in Jersey" and then said "we don`t want you here anyway, all you do is weaken the f*cking country" after the one told him he was visiting family, is what this is about. Police aren`t supposed to act like that or say sh*t like that.

I have only a sketchy idea of the US constitution and the rights it entails.

Is talking to a suspected person probable cause? Really? Enough so you get a going over?

Is not carrying ID or not giving the cops your details if you are not committing a crime an offence?

I could be wrong but I thought your Constitution had something to say about that. I dunno, just asking.

"Yeah, they thought they had the right to go quietly about their day. That`s the problem right there. Idiots thinking they have rights, when will they learn, eh?"
-------
It`s not about rights. It`s about being a dick. As I said before, there are cops that are asshats, but most of them are not. They have a really hard job and now that everyone is refusing to let them do it, it just got a lot harder.

People have always disliked cops. They enforce the rules. But here`s an idea, don`t blame the cop for enforcing the rules you agreed to. Don`t like the rules? Lobby to change them.

Yeah, they thought they had the right to go quietly about their day. That`s the problem right there. Idiots thinking they have rights, when will they learn, eh?

I think folks need to put themselves into the shoes of these cops. Say it`s you`re job to break up a local drug ring. You stake out the dealer and watch him. You see two guys head over and spend time talking to him. You follow the guys and right away, they claim they don`t know him, they refuse to give their names and they act suspicious. So...what do you do? Walk away and let them be? Of course not. You do your job. And when every single time you stop someone you get "lawyer speech", you would start to get fed up with it to, especially because 99% of the time, the guy you are stopping is guilty and just making excuses/lying. It`s like "crap...do I have to go through this B.S. again?".

Anyway...if you want this sort of thing to go away, get rid of the stupid drug war. Legalize pot and this ceases to be an issue.

`Cops should have the right to beat idiots like this.`

Pretty much sums up the point of disagreement on most of these `thug cops` posts.

Some people think that cops should have the right to beat people up. Others don`t.

Some people think that anything a cop does should be met with cowering acquiescence, others don`t.

Some people think that due process and the rule of law should be secondary to whatever a cop feels like doing. Others don`t.

I doubt we are ever going to bridge that gap so these arguments will continue.

I`m betting there is more to this story than this video shows. Besides, why did this guy start recording right as the police shown up?

Also, talking to known drug dealer is probable cause these days, not having ID and not giving the cops your name is even more suspicious to them.

@patchouly- you`re kidding, right? Those cops are determining who one can and can`t say hello to, initiated violence- with zero probable cause to detain or search- and threaten to kick their asses, while exhibiting the professional ethics of thugs.

"They had to search them for drugs."

if they saw money or drugs exchange hands then yes. if not then they cant do anything unless they have another reason to do so.

these cops are ass hats. plain and simple.

Bully? Now, granted, I only listened to the first 6 minutes, but they had a right to search those guys because they were seen talking to a drug dealer. They had to search them for drugs. The problem is, the idiots started playing lawyer. That`s the problem in most of these cases. There are bad cops. No doubt. But the "lawyer" asshats cause more trouble then they are worth. Cops should have the right to beat idiots like this.
