"Obama$ top gov golf courses remain open, including his favorite at Camp David."

There`s no golf course at Camp David, just a driving range and ONE hole.

As for the course at Andrews AFB, it`s funded through user fees.

@ Whodat6484: Great job exposing the propaganda. I`m guessing it took all of 10 minutes to find the truth behind the spin. And yet millions of RoboPattons are eager to pass this garbage on without a moment`s thought because it plays into their prejudices.

@Squrlz4Sale - Yeah, I heard the one about the Andrews AFB course earlier today so I was waiting for one of these guys to say that.

But I really like how RoboPatton added "including his favorite at Camp David." It`s quite obvious he just pulled that one out of his a$$, hahaha!

As are the liberals my friend, as are the liberals. I`ve said it more than once it isn`t one party it`s both. And as long as BOTH sides are drinking each others respective glasses of cool aid it will never end. This site being a prime example of that.

For every wrong `fact` or misleading website you find for your argument against republicans you can find the same for liberals.

@WhoDat: YES! Andrews AFB is funded through "user fees"...

AND SO ARE 100 THINGS OBAMA HAS SHUT DOWN!
    ffs, wake UP man!

Obama`s GOLF COURSE (which he HAS used since the shutdown started!) remains open, but AMBER ALERT GETS SHUT DOWN?

Obama: the ONLY one who could do that.

Blame the "Tea Party" all you like! They CANNOT decide what gets shut down, but Obama can AND DOES decide.

@WhoDat: You HONESTLY believe the Following memorials NEED to be closed?

    WW2
    Vietnam
    Iwo Jima
    WW1

HONESTLY? Answer me THAT my boy! The orders came DIRECTLY from the White House, and that means Obama, pure and simple.

Well, I can certainly say that I`M disgusted. I have been for some time now.

Now we find out that while the WWII memorial has been closed to veterans, Obama has opened the mall for an immigration reform rally sponsored by the SEIU, the AFL-CIO, and a number of leftist Hispanic groups.

Also, while the Amber Alert web site is down, Michelle`s "Let`s Move" web site is up and running.

At least he has made his priorities clear to us.

    "AMBER ALERT GETS SHUT DOWN?"

    FALSE

    "Answer me THAT my boy!"

    1) I am not, never have been, and never will be your "boy"

    2) The closed memorials is the only thing I disagree with when it comes to the shutdown.

That being said, I do have a problem with those worthless Republican members of the House who showed up to move barriers claiming to care about veterans as a publicity stunt. Just weeks ago they voted and passed a bill to cut SNAP which would kick approx 170.000 veterans and their families off the program. Moving a few barr

But seriously? Obama`s Golf Course remains open, and you still support HIM?
HE`S THE ONE who shut down the memorials! NO ONE ELSE has the power to do so! No Republicans could do that, BUT IT HAS BEEN DONE! So? Who did it? Hummmm? It`s obvious.

Meanwhile? 12+ funding bills remain BLOCKED by the Democrat Senate. You have NO PROBLEMS with that either?

It`s not "Obama`s Golf Course" it`s called The Courses at Andrews.

Like I said, a few memorials that are closed to get a message across does not bother me as much as House Republicans trying to take food out of the mouths of veterans & their families. There`s a HUGE difference between the two, it`s not that hard to understand.

    Also, about the golf course:

If it`s on base, it should be closed.

There are loads of attractions that are funded through public fees and donations that are closed due to the shutdown. Mount Vernon is privately owned, but the federal government closed the parking lot. Why? Is it saving the government money, forgoing all those parking fees?

Or, is it just a game to say "Hey look! Beloved Mount Vernon is closed! The Republicans did this! The Tea Party did this!"

Such vitriolic unfounded liberal crap. You get your marching orders from the likes of Daily KOS, one of the most dishonest and casuistic websites ever.

It cost more money to shutdown the memorials than to keep them open, money that could`ve be spent on the SNAP benefits you claim were cut.

Btw, It`s Obama`s fault that 47 million people need SNAP benefits in the first place. It`s his disastrous policies that have contributed to high unemployment and the lowest labor participation rate since Jimmy Carter. But just ignore those facts and keep blaming republicans.

The information site is not the Amber Alert system. Shutting it down is inconsequential. To blame Obama for it and say that he only started back up after he "realized it was doing him more harm than good politically", it just putting a crazy spin on it and showing a huge lack of understanding of the way technology works. It`s akin to complaining that taking the advertisements off of city buses is the same thing as stopping the transit system.

Actually CJ I`m not going to blame Government for Employers not hiring. I`m going to squarely blame the fat cats and CEO`s that are happy with not spending money on "personnel here in America. Greed is what is causing high unemployment not the Government. This is one of those situations where Gorvernment is needed to protect the people from the Vultures on Wall Street.

This is anecdotal but I work with a billion dollare revenuing company. We are a vendor for them. They spent 1.2 million on sales, promotional, and time on a project that they later rejected. Boom 1.2 million spent out the door in losses. While they bicker with every PO we send them. It`s amazing they are willing to blow a million on something they don`t even want or need but won`t pay to increase their workforce. Why? Greed.

Greed is what is causing high unemployment not the Government.
If you would, can you please explain why greed is suddenly so varied and extreme as to explain away high unemployment?

I, on the other hand, view greed as a relative constant; it seems highly unlikely that, within the last 10 years, greed has experienced rampant growth. Rather, I suspect some changes have occurred that have allowed greed to exist in a (somewhat) unchallenged state.

I think you would agree that government (authority) has bedded corporations. Who then must we blame? It seems reasonable that we would fault the authority figure. For example, if a parent and child assault an old lady, our reaction is to fault the parent - the authority figure.

Sadly, this leads us to the conclusion that government, not corporations, is the faulty entity.

What kind of country allows a government to have this kind of power? 800.000 without income? (If the information provided in the media here is correct anyway.) Belgium went without a federal government for over 500 days, not a single income suffered from it. What does it matter which political party is responsible for it, this situation should never be allowed to happen.

Okay, they `lost` $1.2 million. (actually, it was not lost, it went somewhere. someone made a wage on it.)

Maybe for that $1.2 million they did research that found if they went with that project it`d cost them $1.2 billion in losses. So it may have been worth it.
Or maybe technology changed, or the market, or something, which made it not worth it to pursue the project. They ended up wasting $1.2 million of THEIR money. (you know? THEIR money...as in NOT YOURS to complain about)

HumanAction-"While they bicker with every PO we send them."

Well, if a company is willilng to take a $1.2 million loss on another project is bickering over every PO you send them could just demonstrate that they have some reason to question the validity

It can`t possibly be the government that setup the Obamacare rules fault, it can`t possibly be Obama that exempted his buddies corporations or the congress that gave itself a 75% subsidy so it could exempt themselves. It couldn`t possibly be the hostile Bureau of Labor appointees that`ve halted business expansion into other lower tax states.

What`s with all the political garbage that doesn`t do anything but attract trolls? Can`t we just all watch cat videos and get along?

Red far right religious freaks vs blue right wing religious freaks.

It`s because reasoned political debate is too much effort. Therefore, you just divide into two camps with precious little difference and argue over those remaining differences simply by being angry at the opposing camp.

You lot should just have another civil war and be done with it for another 150 years.

@ McGovern: Why do you have to jump on Draculya every time he criticizes the U.S.? He has a lot of insights that hit home. I don`t think we need to scoff at anyone who doesn`t think the U.S. is the greatest country on Earth.

So much for your patriotism. This country gives you all the nuts you can bury and you defend it`s critics.

    @Squrlz

I really think you should go back and read alot of Draculya`s responses to many, many post. They`re nothing short of venom and troll bait. Hoping that we get bombed(which he has used on more than one occasion) is not `insight`. Hell at one point I almost created a meme for him similar to the one @whodat made for @5Cats.

It`s not scoffing at someone`s insights when you`re simply calling out a troll.

    @Squrlz4Sale

He does it ever chance he gets and it`s all spite and hypocrisy. HE LIVES IN A F CKING PROPERTY OF CHINA! and wants to preach about how bad we treat people. Along with wishing an internal war, bombing and ect. upon us are not insights they`re a pathetic little mans syndrome.

Now lets hear him tout the low cost of his healthcare again while blissfully ignoring what mainland Chinas is like. You know the people who slave away to keep his system propped up...
