Link: Great Moments In Presidential Speeches - JFK, Reagan, Obama? Where can one ``apply in person`` Barack?

I noice that ALL the news stations cut the clip before Obama says "apply in person"...
WHERE EXACTLY can one "apply in person"?

And FYI: The phone line just connects back to the website, it in no way replaces it. If the Site is down? The phone help doesn`t work either.

Anyone care to explain why the President of the United States says such false and uninformed things? Repeatedly? (This is far from the only one, he`s repeated this mantra of "it`s just a glitch" a hundred times...)

His solution? SPEND MORE MONEY ON IT! Adding more technicians NOW won`t make things better, it will make things WORSE!

Did anyone notice that when the lady had a `fainting` spell during that Obama speech her best friend, who had been holding on to her the entire time, kindly moved aside to let the President take care of her?

    How sweet.

Also FYI: Ronald Reagan wrote that speech himself. His staff writers objected to the strong language, but he insisted! It`s one of the greatest speeches in the 20th century.

Reagan wasn`t "an actor reading lines" eh?

Meanwhile? Obama thinks he`s a better speechwriter than those hire to write for him! Yet without his teleprompter? He`s a SCFOAMF...

I guess I`ll have to start voting on these things.

    Gave it a 4.

5Cats-"Anyone care to explain why the President of the United States says such false and uninformed things?"

Becuase he never knows what`s going on!
Obamacare Website screwed up? Obama: "I didn`t know."
    Benghazi: Obama: "I didn`t know."
    Petraeus: Obama: "I didn`t know."
    Fast & Furious: Obama: "I didn`t know."
Any scandal: Obama: "I didn`t know."

    Official White House Link

Apparently? There are local places to enroll in person? But how would they work if the website is down, since everything goes through it?

"Glitches" Hit All Forms Of Application!

So it doesn`t matter what method you use: it`s ALL FAIL!

The Call Centers wre NOT supposed to replace the website
    And of course they`re overwhelmed!

Aren`t y`all glad I`m not submitting these links separa

    Good point @MeGrendel:

Reagan, during the Iran/Contra hearings, was asked if a certain person was in the room on an UNSPECIFIED day when certain things were discussed 3 YEARS AGO. He was NOT ALLOWED to consult his own notes.

He said "I don`t remember" and the MSM CRUCIFIED HIM.

Obama was IN THE ROOM (supposedly, account vary) when many things happened that later turned into disasters.
He PERSONALLY oversaw the website development, having the developers over to the White House frequently! But it`s SECRET as to specific times, eh?

But something goes wrong? IT`S SOMEONE ELSE`S FAULT!

Look for the MSM and the Dems to start blaming the Republicans for the website failing, it`s already started actually...

I mean, really? The Repubs BROKE OBAMA`S WEBSITE? Really?

yawn 5cats. While the website is a disaster we don`t need to be reminded every other day that it`s broken. Didn`t we go over this last week?

WHERE EXACTLY can one "apply in person"?

Punch in your City, State and/or zip code here and it tells you where.

"But how would they work if the website is down, since everything goes through it?"

Just because portions of the site aren`t working doesn`t mean the whole thing isn`t working. I already checked by randomly searching for cities that are in states who don`t run their own website and it works.

"WHERE EXACTLY can one `apply in person`?"

Here is where you go to apply. The "liberal" media deleted one of the few useful parts of Obama`s speech, and only kept the parts that make him look bumbling. Isn`t that interesting?

"And FYI: The phone line just connects back to the website"

The phone line connects you to people who can enter data directly into the back-end, allowing people who are too impatient to go through the website to tell somebody else to enter data into the backend. The website works, it`s just buggy and slow.

I give this video a 2. It`s a fun concept, but it`s done poorly and cuts off when a better punchline could`ve been delivered.

Kill all the Democrats! Burn all the liberals! Obama and Clinton and Carter are the worst men in the history of the country, traitors and Anti-Christs, each. And, they`re socialist, Nazi, Nigerian, Muslims, too!

And Obamacare? Well, it`s the exact plan the Democrats wanted, not changed a bit to appease Republican angels and statesmen and true Americans, who`ve nothing but support and tout the wonderfulness of the program all along, without ever trying to undermine, de-fund, cripple or delay it in any way shape or form.

Yes, Democrats truly suck. And Republicans? All they want is for God to be allowed in schools, and Healthcare for all, and for little babies to be born. Is that so wrong? I ask you, 5Cats, is that so wrong, Good Sir?! Why must you mock Republicans all the time? Why?!

@WhoDat & @bliznik: Nope, sorry: It`s ONE BIG program! The ACA Site is NOT "backdoorable" or it would WORK!!! :-) But it just doesn`t work.

    >>The phone connection just goes to the ACA Site: it`s been demonstrated MANY times.

    >>The "in person" places... connect to the ACA Site!
    >>I imagine the "mail-in" works the same as "in person"...

There`s no "separate system" that actually functions, ok? THAT`S A MYTH! While some State-Run sites might work? (MOST do NOT work, fyi) And the phone in/in person might connect to those "working sites"? That doesn`t change the reality:

    $500,000,000 for a broken website.

Most expensive website in HISTORY and it`s totally SNAFU.

@5Cats - You asked where to go to sign up in person and we both told you where. Now you`re throwing a bunch of other sh*t in to bait me into an argument, which isn`t going to happen because I have plans.

I`m off to a Halloween party, going to take some shots, smoke a ridiculous amount of weed and we`re playing a Misfits/White Zombie cover song set. Then I`m going to get laid and pass out with a smile on my face. Have fun sitting at home on IAB and arguing about a healthcare system that has absolutely no impact on your life whatsoever. You`re truly a sad little man, I pity you.

Where`s "Fool me once, shame on you... Fool me twice, ain`t gonna fool me again."?

Or "If this were a dictatorship, it`d be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I`m the dictator."

No matter your political affiliation, there is no argument that the top boneheaded quotes come from W. Seeing as this video compares apples & oranges, and is leaving out the truly boneheaded presidential quotes... political propaganda once again.

Of course or resident canadian night & day obsessed with American politics will probably see this comment as a direct attack against his beliefs and send him into an all caps frenzy :)

@WhoDat: I freely admit: I simply did not know! I had NO IDEA there were "in person sign-up" stations set up.
    Now? I do know!
However: These sites do NOT "magically" work while the MAIN site is broken, ok? The purpose of them is for people with no internet to sign up, that makes PERFECT SENSE! idk why this hasn`t been prominently promoted from Day-1.

But to send people there, or tell them to "phone in" when the SYSTEM IS BROKEN is just dishonest. It`s a LIE. Bare-faced and brazen.

If "parts are working" on your car? it runs perfectly? No? SAME THING HERE.

5 WEEKS to "fix it" Says the most OPTIMISTIC guy on Earth! By "fix" he means make it work for MOST (but not all) of the time!

    Have fun at your party!

    Parts of your car analogy:

Working Parts: Radio, transmission, seats, headlights, horn

Broken Parts: Brakes, engine, battery (missing) wheels (only has 3) and the steering wheel is located inside the trunk...

PARTS OF IT WORK! SAFE TO OPERATE!! OBAMA SAYS SO!! JUST USE THE TELEPHONE!!!

Cost of car: $500,000,000 = money well spent! :-)
    Repair time: 5 weeks (+)
Cost of repairs: Oh Baby! If you have to ask, you cannot afford it!

#1 He`s the most powerful person on Earth.
    #2 He`s a Stuttering ClusterDrat Of A Miserable Failure.
    #3 He lies.
#4 What happens in America REALLY effects what happens I Canada!
#5 The MSM licks his balls, and I hate the MSM...

I got more reasons! His egomania! His narcissism! His outright RACISM! His obvious leftist agenda...

But mostly his lies. In book form, in speeches, in policies: he tells lies.

When a politician from the other party lies, it`s unforgivable. When a politician from your party lies, it`s just a necessary evil to defeat those in the other party who are destroying America.

@panzerlines: Not really. Not in the USA anyhow:

    When a Republican lies?
    -Republicans condemn him/her
    -The MSM condemns him/her

    When A Democrat lies?
    -Democrats make excuses/ blames Republicans
-The MSM makes excuses/ blames Republicans

Case in point? Reverend Jessie Jackson`s Bastard Son!
While campaigning for the "Million Man March" and telling black men to "own up to their illegitimate children"? HE was fighting a multi-year legal battle to NOT take a blood test to prove he was the father of his (former) secretary`s child!
He finally settled, the newspapers ran it on PAGE 4! It was like an APOLOGY!

Compare and contrast to: Jim Bakker!

So the Republican party condemns other Republicans when they lie? Hmmm, interesting. I find it incomprehensible that you believe lying is wrong, yet you do it so easily yourself.

Your anecdotal examples look a little silly when you realize Reagan himself promoted a "do not taddle on your fellow Republicans" rule. Remember this?
