    This can`t be the actual drumlines. This has to be ROTC or something. Way too many inconsistencies for an armed forces drumline.

    This is the United States Military Academy aka West Point spirit band drum line against the Air Force Academy spirit band drum line.

    Makes me sad that the only cool part of band was the drumline and the plumed hats.

    Why do they still use the old-fashioned left-hand-under grip. The ONLY reason that grip ever came into existence is so you could play and march with a drum hanging at your left side. With these drums, or with trap set, it is clumsy and inefficient. Yet drum teacher still teach it. WFT?


    This is the ONLY kind of drum that is easier to play with the left-hand-under grip.

    No argument, Buddy Rich was great. Just imagine, though, how much better he could have been if he hadn`t hobbled himself with that obsolete marching-drum grip.
