    Funny, true, but meaningless.

3 Billion? That`s a LITERAL "drop in the bucket" compared to what the 2 parties `take in` in donations and compared to what they `hand out` in corporate welfare.

Want to cut down of lobby bribery? REDUCE corporate welfare! REDUCE the size of government!

    Simple really.

The knee-jerk reaction is to associate lobbying with corporations. In fact, labor unions (in the US) give more than twice as much money to politicians as the telecommunications, insurance,
tobacco, pharmaceuticals, and real estate industries -- combined.

Pop a politician, lynch a legislator, kill a congressman.
Just some suggestions for new federal holidays.

Break the unions. Unions are a good reason not to invest in, or manufacture in, or operate in the US.

As for lobbyists, I call for mob justice.

Lobbyists aren`t the problem. The problem is the corrupt politicians and the idiots who vote them into office.

Those of you who want to get rid of lobbyists seem to forget that pesky 1st amendment -- you know, the part about "the right of the people... to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

If you have to get rid of one or the other, I say, keep the 1st amendment, and get rid of the corrupt bastards who are taking away our constitutional rights and then selling them back to us.
