    The only new one for me was the "Bat Bomb" :-) An idea so strange it just might have worked!

    There were TONS of weird things in WW2, desperation breeds inventiveness, eh? Some actually lead to later, practical things! As seen here with #4 and #5...

    AS for #2: the Natter? The USA and USSR both experimented with rocket interceptors, but it was unspeakably hard on the test pilots, so both nations scrapped it.

    Stealth bomber combined with night vision, well would`ve been a game changer.. Ghost bombers.

    Test of the Bat Bomb was successful in that after escaping, the bats did roost in eves and then burn down the compound they were developing the Bat Bomb in.

    True story.
