It`s really hard to take Obamacare seriously when the national hotline number is 1-800-F*UCKYO (1-800-318-2596). That`s not a joke by the way, that is the real hotline number.
NO WAY! Please say it ain`t so!

There is NO POSSIBILITY that is an accident.

I saw a government pamphlet, years ago, explaining how to sign up for something or other.

The address in the example?

2469 Any Street, Any Town, Canada

2-4-69 ??? Two For Sixty-Nine ??? NOT an accident! :-)

@handimanner: Perhaps I`ll reply in full once you`ve sobered up...

Bush added to the debt, yes it`s true.
BOTH wars were heavily supported by the Democrats AND the American public!

OBAMA will DOUBLE the debt under his watch! By the end of his term it will have added 9+ TRILLION DOLLARS!

Obama also added over 300 billion to Bush`s Bailout, it`s a fact, go look it up! THEN Obama spent EVEN MORE on his "stimulus plan" which did... nothing.

Tax Wall Street? LMAO! OH SO FUNNY!
It`s MUCH EASIER to tax the average Citizen... which is what ObamaCare is! IT`S A TAX!!!

@handimanner cont

Using this, as it has similar numbers that you gave it shows that for the past 20 years, whenever there are at least two D`s under the each of the house and the presidency, the deficit increases. Whenever there are at least two R`s, the deficit decreases. Now, that`s not to say that that happens 100% of the time. There are some cases where extreme things happen, like being attacked, and all; but it is largely a trend that seems to happen. Key years `86-87, `08-09, and a counterpoint `92-93

1. If you like their healthcare so much.. move there.

2. Others from other countries should hold the US government with more scrutiny. The US is one of, if not, the greatest power in the world. Anything that the US government does will, can, and has affect the rest of the world.

3. Politicians` healthcare is a different system than what they are trying to pass on to the people. Though I like your premise, the question should be "Why won`t you also go onto this `great` system you are trying to push on your constituents?"

4. Clinton did nothing in office. The economy really boomed under his watch due to a new business they became really popular. Maybe you`ve heard of it? It`s called the Internet!

5. Presidents really don`t have the power over the economy that one would like you to think. The legislative branch has more power to affect things.

You remember George. He`s the guy who started two wars, emptied the offers (he inherited a government (Clinton) that left him 96 billion in the bank (after paying off Reagan`s 300B deficit) and left almost a trillion in debt after making sure TARP bailed out his screw-up biz buddies by shaking this country by the shoes until all the money ran out.
You remember George. He`s the guy - opposed to Carter who builds homes for poor folk, or Clinton and Gore, who are readily involved in global projects - who is sitting in his bathtub painting pictures of his willy.

How to pay for healthcare in the US
1. Tax Wall Street per transaction (based on a point system)
2. Stop financial bailouts (TARP) started under George Bush.

Been doing an interview with "the Oregonian" last couple of days regarding healthcare. They sent a photog out and everything, gosh. Will send a link if it flies. I ask two basic questions:
"If you are a politician in this country, don you receive health insurance as part of your job"?
"If you are a corporate officer in this country do you receive 100% tax breaks for your health care"?
(Since the answer to both is yes)
"Why do you deny, to the people who elect you or buy your products, the same life services you enjoy"?

5Cats...Obamacare is a mandate for everyone to get health insurance. There are plenty of people who have been put on health insurance in the last 3 years. =/

OMG, the metaphor isn`t perfect?! Stop the presses! Of course there are differences...it`s a METAPHOR. You know what is also different? Obamacare is a law whereas Apple is a company. For f***s sake this is ridiculous.

It would be wonderful if they could track down all the morons who are against Obamacare and not allow them to enroll.
Let`s see how quick they are to complain when their insurance doesn`t cover them because of a pre-existing condition and they lose their life savings and their house to pay for treatment.

3 YEARS to get ready. THREE years! Not months or weeks, years!

They knew the launch date ages ago, but still haven`t enrolled a single American 3 days later?

At least some reports of that are out. Another "grand achievement" for Obama!

Oh, and people who claim "the Tea Part hacked and flooded the system!!!!" are freaking delusional...

LOOK! One Guy Signed Up!
Of course he was an "insider"...

Also, Apple can`t shut down the government and deny cancer treatment to sick children if you don`t buy their products.
