    Actually talking into the watch predates the Simpsons by 12 years, Michael Knight talked into his watch as a communicator, mostly to summon or give commands to KITT on Knight Rider. Simpsons was naturally aware of the idea, given the times they`ve spoofed Knight Rider (Knight Boat; KITT in the TV museum) but they themselves didn`t predict it.
