I don"t think the people who owned this restaurant liked the locals. At all.

Good way to do business. Hopefully they don`t plan on keeping that name in the next town. Lolz.

Sounds like a store in my town. They have a sign that says, "Proudly refuse to serve idiots and bums." The owner is a brass-plated azzhat.

Yes, blame your crappy food and lousy restaurant on the locals.

Why would anyone want to go to a restaurant run by hateful bigots? No wonder they closed. They hated the community they were in. Even if the owners smiled and faked it, people can tell when someone despises them for no other reason than where they`re from or likes to spread nasty stereotypes about them.

The reviews I`ve read for this restaurant do indicate that most customers were quite happy with the food and service. A few customers didn`t seem to get it, like;y because they were raised on McDonalds and Pizza Hut, and fine dining would be a concept as foreign to them as the surface of Jupiter. Nonetheless, the owners crossed the line with that sign. No excuse for that at all. Stay classy.

If you`re gonna feed Eye-talian to a texan [Lower Case Intentional], there`s no need to go any deeper, ethnically, than Chef Boyaredee

I hope for their own sake they`ve moved further than just the next town.

This sounds like the crazy couple (Amy and Samy) from Phoenix who were on Kitchen Nightmares. They were 15,000 kinds of bat ship crazy.

...or maybe they just had overpriced crappy food and lousy service. Of course, that`s a recipe for success in a liberal-run city.

Well gee, I wonder why they went out of business! Guess maybe they`ll find success somewhere the locals like being spat upon and insulted. Try Detroit or New Orleans.

Sounds like they picked the wrong town to start a business. There is an Indian (as in India/Thai) restaurant in my town that did all right...until 9/11 and now they have moved to a smaller building and still struggle for business. Welcome to racist/ignorant South.

OR! Their food was overpriced for said "redneck" town. Which is the most likely reason.

Sounds like a good business practice wonder why they had to leave/go bankrupt. Italian is overdone BTW.

Be nice to see the note on the door AFTER they found out their bank loan came though after all:

"Hope you folks got as big a kick out of that `redneck sacks of goat sperm` joke as we did. We knew you`d laugh. And we`d like to invite you and your sisters in for a complimentary plate of pasta. Come on, you didn`t take that last note SERIOUSLY, did you?"
