It really pleases me to know that not all Americans are fooled by their leaders. The same goes for my country too, I`m not having a pop. You guys have actually proved in the past that when you stand up for yourselves, good things happen. The UK still hasn`t grasped that idea yet. I hope you take the lead here.

Good lord. Are you people this numb?

Put partisan politics aside for thirty seconds. Please.

WASHINGTON wants to ARM AL QAEDA. the guy EATING THE HEART AND LIVER of the Syrian military soldier is a WARNING SIGN that we are going to GIVE WEAPONS AND BOOTS ON THE GROUND SUPPORT to a bunch of BARBARIANS.

Neither side is the right side. LET THEM WORK IT OUT.

skypirate, it`s not just one person doing this sort of thing. (That one person happens to be an important leader, btw) There are all kinds of videos of the rebels doing batshiite crazy things. In fact, beheadings are one of the more moderate things they do.

Beck is a divisive guy, but everything he says here is true. Stay out of the no win zone.

I cannot describe how royally pissed I will be if we arm Al Qaeda. It is an act of TREASON

Article 3. Section 3, US constitution.

"Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort."

If they dare do it, we should make them regret that day.

Is he making a new point? Something we all did not already know? It`s a muslim country...they all are tyrants. Iran`s Shaw was viscioius king so they overthrew him for the Ayatolahs...all tyrants. Egypt had a revolution and put the Muslim Brotherhood in charge and now aren`t happy with them... that`s your "duh" moment in world history.

That part of the world has not developed socially to have a peaceful, free government. We cannot force it down their throats, they will only reject it. So whoever is in charge will be a villain. That`s why I say stay out of it. Not our business and we can`t fix it for them.

We should pull the Hell out of there, put a fraction of our military spending toward developing an alternative to oil as a fuel, and let the peace-loving peoples of the Middle East slit throats until there are only two of them left standing.

Siding with anyone in a Syrian Civil War is just effing stupid. And `punishing` foreigners for gassing their own? Isn`t that what the UN is for?

    No Paperduck.

Afghanistan was a retaliation to 9/11. EVERYONE supported it.

MOST PEOPLE after hearing that the WMD report was wrong, DID NOT SUPPORT war in Iraq. I withdrew my support at that time too.

Auburnjunky, you withdrew support of invading Iraq when the WMD farce became known, but that was after invasion had already occurred. We now know where those WMDs ended up, you say? Ok so how is supporting invading Syria any different? Look I`m against invading Syria now and I`ve tried to be consistent, I was also against putting troops on the ground in Iraq. I`m just tired of folks flip flopping their stance and being vehement about it at each point.

What the Obama administration is saying is that any bombing will be to diminish capability to deliver WMD.
Since Assad is a moron like his dad it`s highly likely that he will retaliate against Israel which will push Obama to retaliate for that.
The Syrian rebels are a loose group of jihadists and other morons.
In other words, it`s moron vs moron. There will be no victories in this fight. Just the losers, the people caught in between.

Paperduck, what does it matter, in 2013? I mean, is it ridiculous to think that new information could have come up in the past 10 years to change people`s opinions about what`s best for everything? Or do we have to lock ourselves into one mindset in 2003 and keep that mindset until we die for fear of, God forbid, changing our opinion.

I mean, Hillary did it. Didn`t she?

I supported Afghanistan and Iraq, and I still support our actions in Iraq. Saddam Hussein had acted in violation of the peace resolutions, whether he had WMDs or not, and we went into the battle for that reason.

To my knowledge, we don`t have the same history with Syria. Yes, there are resolutions to forbid chemical warfare.

I hear the arguments to go in, which sound a lot like the arguments to go into Iraq; but without the history. I could be wrong, the history could be there. If it isn`t, the US has no business going in.

@Andrew155, this has been going on for decades-go and read about the Bush family as a single example. But it only now seems to be sinking in. Looking at your age bracket that`s a great sign because as you can see by looking at the older posters on here, they are too far gone with indoctrination. It`s all about making money whilst your poor families go off to die believing it is for some noble cause.

This is what I love about Beck, only tells you part of the story.

The truth: Abu Sakkar is a crazy mofo, no other rebels have done this.

The rebel Supreme Military Council called for Abu Sakkar`s arrest after learning about this.

The issue at hand is not to arm the rebels, but to strike the current regime`s military for using chemical weapons on civilians, It`s OWN people.

And no I don`t think we need to get involved either

AJ, you seem to forget that most of the people here are liberals. Once they see that Glenn Beck is the messenger, they will remember that they`re supposed to hate him, and they will completely ignore and dismiss the message. They actually see Glenn Beck as being more evil and dangerous than Abu Sakar.

Fact: I don`t like Glen Beck. I`ve always seen him as self-important, pompous and one who will fan a flame of a partisan argument in order to make himself rich.

Fact #2: The man is right. And for him to drop the facade that built his career in order to deliver a message he truly believes in is, I think, brilliant.

    Well done, Mr. Beck.

OldOllie - You would just love that, wouldn`t you. Having your party on the popular side of a debate is more important to you than whatever issue is being discussed...isn`t it?

IF ANYONE IN THE HISTORY OF IAB is guilty of being blind along party lines, it is you.

If someone here can`t agree with his comment, it isn`t just because they are liberal. It`s because they are stupid.

I get what you are trying to say though, I bet you feel Glen Becks pain.

People (including myself) agree with things you say quite often...but who wants to agree with someone who bases their opinions along party lines instead of forming an opinion from facts and logic?

Wait, wait, get this, the Syrian rebels are Sunni and they consider it their sacred duty to kill all Americans and Jews.... and they want to do so far more than they want to kill the Shia.

Furthermore, I would not put it past these people to `martyr` thousands of their own in a false flag operation to get military support.

All the polls show the people of America are opposed to the coming American war, yet the majority of the policy makers (who receive lobby money) are for it.

It has nothing to do with being liberal. As I`m not a liberal. Unless you consider anything other than a Libertarian a Liberal then in that case I am. =p Glenn Beck is in the same neighborhood as extreme liberalism for me. I can`t stand his brand. When you are a crazy psycopath, with a murky agenda, I tend to generally dismiss most of what is said from that person. Glenn Beck isn`t exactly a "reliable" news source. He rings well with the crazies for a reason.

Glenn Beck isn`t news, he`s an editorial. If you try to watch it as news, you`ll go insane. He`s a man presenting an opinion. One that is far to the right of what he believes, to draw in listeners and get them to agree with his actual beliefs.
