As a person who honestly has a lot to be triggered or offended by,I find myself to be pretty unaffected by these things. Why? Because I don`t take myself so seriously. I know that people say lots of careless and colloquial things and don`t have any malicious meaning behind them, and if I decide that it suddenly means more than that then I`m really being intolerant. I`m imposing my fears and shortcomings on to other people, rather than just allowing it to happen and not make a big deal out of stupid little things. I get offended by jokes about seizures honestly, my brother died of his seizure disorder and for a long time it was an extremely sensitive subject. Obviously now I`m fine to talk about it, but the entire time since it`s happened if I see jokes about seizures or whatever I just ignore it. Who cares? They don`t mean it offensively. I say "retard" all the time and yet I know that I would never treat somebody badly because of a disability, it`s all duality.

Ahhhh I remember the good old`e days. In order to get to work I had to trudge through three miles of rampant flame wars. Up hill. Both ways!

So much stupid, not enough time (or concern) to comment on it all.

If you guys knew what a trigger was, and how it affected some people you would hopefully think twice about triggering people.

There are probably people who use it as an excuse, but seriously, sometimes you should just learn to watch what you say. GOD FORBID YOU HAVE TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR WORDS.

Speaking your mind is okay, being cannon is okay, but if one of those things causes a trigger then just don`t talk about that with the person who is triggered. If you actually like the person it should be easy, if not then just don`t be that person`s friend.

Is this not what the CDA (Computer Descency Act by NSA about 1992)is for? To disable anyone to have any opinion that could be concidered offensive to anyone for any reason over the internet by allowing Government the right to access, collect, edit, audit any electronic communications such as Emails etc? Hows that working out for you? Next thing theyle start doing it to phone records and mail

Just like IAB`s 18-20something demo. Just looking for something to be offended by.

@19842011: I`m offended that you didn`t get it! :-)

Also: I got a papercut while reading this, I`m suing Samsung!

Glad to see the link to their homepage (sort of!): nice art there! Plus: "Lesbians 101"

this type of mental abuse IS rife in our society. Luckily, Obama is going to provide therapy dogs for all who feel the anxiety
