And this is why the once-normal Anderson family, consumed by guilt, suddenly packed up, went to live in an isolated cabin in the mountains, and refused to bathe or talk to other human beings. Legend says you can still hear ghostly voices around that now-deserted cabin, whispering "Trix are for kids .... Trix are for kids ..."

    What an awful sound :(

When I was little I came upon a little rabbit den/nest in our backyard. Instead of leaving it alone I tried to sneak closer to see the baby bunnies. Unfortunately I scared the bunnies and one ran....right into our dog pen and was immediately eaten by one of my 4 dogs. I cried so hard that day...

    =O.O=

Only a raptor would kill a baby bunny that had been nursed back to health and was about to rejoin its mother.

Raptors = All that is wicked, sinister, and evil in this world. There is NOTHING cute or cuddly about a raptor.

    Squrlz out.

Hahahaha! Oh glorious irreverent nature how you amuse me. There is a very good reason why rabbits are so low on the food chain.

Besides, it`s not like a mother rabbit has an ounce of maternal instinct anyway; that baby was already independent.

So first you`re caught by a human, scared to death what they`re going to do with you.
But then you`re set free and you think "Thank God, I thought I was a goner for sure. I`m gonna get the hell out of here before they...
    W H A T! T H E! F U C K!"

    Damn. Sucks to be you.

    Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!
    *POW*

That was ugly! But like @OldOllie said: for the hawk it was beautiful!
(The hawk probably had the mother rabbit in it`s sights, eh?)

@Sutra46: I know! Poor wee baby indeed!
But then again: hawks are made of dead bunnies, and I like hawks a lot!

@Squrlz4: Your dislike of raptors (and Owls too I presume) is entirely understandable :-) ;-)

Now if we can train those hawks to grab a few cats here and there... you know, just to even the playing field a bit.
