    The SCTV cast usually doesn`t laugh during skits, but Catherine O`Hara looks like`s she`s cracking up during the "rip and tear" sequence.

    very low standard of comedy, equal to sketches on children`s shows in the UK.

    @som-tom: Yes, it`s bad "on purpose" eh? it`s a PARODY of those types of shows.

    Unspeakably funny! SCTV was terrific. And they did it on a low budget to boot!

    Yes, SCTV was the best of them all. And Count Floyd was one of the SCTV greats -- the ultimate down and out TV personality trying to survive.

    Also love the cheezy "3-D" effect. It`s different now where 3-D is incorporated into the film as a whole. But in the old days, you could tell a movie was in 3-D even if you saw a 2-D version on TV. They just kept randomly throwing things in the audience`s faces every once in a while. That what makes the "3-D" here so funny.
