@yelloow12: The average length of 1 metre and a inch in diameter but can grow up to 10 feet in length and weigh over a pound. They are the longest of marine worms. They only let 1/10th to 1/20th of their body stick out of the sand. Their bristles are full of neurotoxins as well. They prefer shallow warm water and are found throughout most of the world`s warmer regions, most commonly in the Indo-Pacific and the Atlantic. It is incredibly aggressive and if they can not find food by ambush hunting it will choose to shoot out and run across the sea floor actively hunting prey attacking anything from fish to coral to seaweed.

The octopus may have squeezed through the jaws, or sacrificed one of it`s arms, but I didn`t count them.

Like I`ve said before, if I can`t see my feet and touch the bottom, there`s no reason to be in the water.
