That discomfort you see in some of the shots, in some of the people, is part of the beauty of it! This is a wonderful project, and ought to tell us something about how insulated and cut off we`ve become from "those people", you know, others who aren`t like us. Outstanding! :-)

If someone asks "what is art?", well show him this.

Most of these people look uncomfortable. Especially the girl in the first photo lol. Just another hipster trying to prove something that doesn`t need to be proven.

A person around here with a camera asking for strangers to touch would end up on a sex offenders list.

The cop looks like a pedophile. Not too shocking though, whatever it takes to save people from getting a ticket.

Even consenting adults? Where do you live, Raccoon City?

The person who wrote this says "I wonder what they do afterwards? Do they just go about their day?" or words to that effect. I`d imagine they chat for a few moments. So, your name is John Smith, nice to meet you. Have you lived in this city long? Oh, you`re not from here, you`re from a different city. I have a little familiarity with your home town and can discuss superficial knowledge. Where are you going (considering we are at a Greyhound bus station)? What brought you to this city where we are now?

That sort of thing. Travelers have these sorts of conversations all the time when both are in a strange city. They have a pleasant time, then go home and never speak again, though they may appear in one another`s vacation photos and each will always remember the other`s first name.

TL;DR - I`m sure they are very friendly towards one another.

A friend of mine posted this on FB a little while back. I still think it is awkward because you can see how uncomfortable it is in some of those people`s eyes.

However, I also can appreciate how unusual and some what awesome it is.
