Link: Street Repaving In San Francisco - This is strangely mesmerizing. 1 street, 8 hours condensed into mere minutes.

Fake! This can`t be San Francisco. I saw no pride flags or leather-clad bears.

This looks like painting... hours of prep for minutes of actual painting.

Obviously not UK, it would have been 8 days condensed into mere minutes. Looking at the shadow`s movement, they got on with the job very quickly.

And tomorrow the gas company will be there with a backhoe to dig up the street and ruin the nice job.

@nikel, in the UK they get paid hourly. In the US, they get paid by the job.

sometimes not, contractors put a offer in to do the job.
if they get it they have to move as quick as they can to cover the profit, if problems occur and delays the job, they lose money

Most major resurfacing in the UK is done over night
to avoid traffic flow. Which doesnt do me any favours as I work fecking nights
