Yeah, I was interested in the results of this, but there are way too many issues with the process chosen, and they have no conclusion as spanz said. It pretty much ended with "So...yeah...we got this data and stuff..."

I`m not surprised by the results in general, but I *do* find it interesting that 80% of the messages to the blatant male cheaters were from women chastising the guy! Why bother? Or was that just a way to start a conversation because they wanted to cheat, but weren`t going to come out and say it? Otherwise, yeah, not much surprising here.

Before I was with my man, I tried using an online dating site, and I got an overwhelming amount of messages from guys. I`m not immensely attractive (on the contrary, I`m incredibly average). So, I`m sure his results were because of the fact there`s a huge difference in the number of subscribers. I only responded to about 3 out of 20 messages that I received because most of them were like, `Hurrrrr hay gurrrl u fineeee.`
It was actually quite overwhelming, and I`m really glad I found my guy the old fashioned way.

lol.

I forget the movie I saw it in, but one bit character would ask every man she met a series of questions up until they said no. By the end of the film you got all the questions yes by one guy so she kissed him..."meh" and walked off. You can`t please women

Gay?
Married?
Employed?
Live on your own?
Got a car?
etc

these results are subject o a lot of questions, and are totally non-scientific. The author probably used sites where there were 4 times as many men signed up than women. Also, culturally many women wait for a man to make the first move, but may be secretly much more ready to cheat. Conclusion: there IS not conclusion here

I`m on one and without exception the question that comes up within the first three is `what do you do for a living?` I told them I`m out of work and all but one never spoke again. So I wrote back to one and said I actually have my own business but was being careful. She immediately wrote back asking how long I`d lived in the area. Women see £ or $ before anything else.

How to tell if he`s a cheater.... is he male?
If the answer is "yes" then it`s a 75% chance he`ll cheat. Ladies, you can face this reality and work through it, or throw him away and star all over again with another cheater.

Statistics don`t lie, but I do.

@DuckBoy87: Vent away! The "all text girl" was most likely a gay guy... or 350 pounds...

I got 2 girlfriends off the dating sites. Each lasted about 1 year. Met a few ladies (they weren`t interested after meeting me) and chatted with some too! Didn`t cost me all that much, considering what SOME guys end up paying!!

I really, REALLY do not understand "sexy chat" or whatever it`s called these days. "Sexting"? What Evers!

I`ve tried online dating sites.

From what I`ve experienced, nothing good, in short; about 90% (rough figures) of the time, I was ignored. I consider myself to be fairly articulate, so I don`t think my messages to the women of the site were horrible.

I did have one who loved talking with me, even via text messaging; she didn`t want to meet because the text relationship was better than most she had.

Eh, I think I`m just venting, but feels kinda good.

The internet has changed nothing. Men are men and behave the same way they always have.

Men are as faithful as their options.

A rich athlete or famous musician or politician has pussy thrown at him so he`s more likely to cheat than the poor, ugly guy who has few options off the farm.

Yeah, typical. Men overwhelm those sites! There are many sites with "fake women" just to keep the males entertained... and paying.

There are real women on these sites though, that`s what keeps them active. A 9:1 ratio of replies is pretty accurate too (I guess).

It`s no newsflash that women get more messages than men on online dating sites. This goes not just for those looking to cheat, but everyone, across the board.
