I might hire them to clean my bathroom at night, but I wouldn`t give them a job where they would be seen in daylight.

I would love to take a rival`s CV, reformat it like this, then circulate it to the HR firms.

That little pony stole copywrited material for his personal use without proper licensing. That little pony did not get hired by the big pony corporation. No, that little pony was sued by Hasbro.

I could forgive the Ponies if he were working in a creative dept, but the way he presented the information here makes it difficult to read and it`s not even really the info I would want on a resume.

Thanks, but that`s not worth +100 internets. THIS is worth +100 internets:

As someone who recently went through the abyss that is job hunting, great job. Standing out in a cesspool that is crawling with what seems like a million carbon copies of yourself is worth far more than your weight in gold. Good job.

"As someone who recently went through the abyss that is job hunting, great job. Standing out in a cesspool that is crawling with what seems like a million carbon copies of yourself is worth far more than your weight in gold. Good job."

That`s like showing up to an interview in drag. If you`re not auditioning for a cabaret, you are doing yourself more harm than good.

The only job I landed with a resume was my first. Since then, every position was obtained by someone seeking me out based on reputation, prior dealings, track record, or my clout.

Resumes are for consultants, mid-level workers (those between minimum wage and the leaders of their field) and civil servants.

@Draculya: I understand very well how the game works. That initial push into those gilded gates that is the rest of your life does not necessarily come easy to a recent college graduate, which this kid happens to be.

I think it should be de rigor to go to interviews in drag. Especially niche non pageant drag.

If he is the best candidate due to his skills and his experience then he should get the job. His personal interests are no business of an employer as long as the job is done well.

madduck if, "His personal interests are no business of an employer as long as the job is done well."
then what if he sent you his resume covered in, for example, pedo approved kiddie pictures?

He is making his personal interests your business if he doesn`t have the good sense not to plaster them all over his resume. You only think it`s okay because this guy is obsessed with ponies as opposed to a "bang bus" themed resume.

1234- no, I honestly don`t think it should matter if it does not affect his performance- if he wants to turn up to work in full make up, high heels and a tutu then as long as that outfit does not prevent him fulfilling his obligations it should not matter. Illegal activity should flag up because no one wants a key employee who is likely to be arrested at a moments notice- but you know.. you get paid to work- not live.

No, because making a CV like this shows incredibly bad judgement. The only people I have ever hired have relied on their judgement not to kill people. Anyone I am likely to hire in the future will be need at least local autonomy, and so require judgement. So until I am hiring production line workers for a factory or similar level, or want a children`s entertainer, this CV would simply be put on the wall for amusement value.

    @1234

Pedo porn is illegal, exposing people to any kind or porn -- including bang bus -- without their consent is illegal.

Being into my little pony is not.

@PinkRhoid People are picked due to personal interests and personality all the time. That`s the entire point of job interviews.
