    Moses is always portayed with "horns", but its meant to be rays of light out of his head, symbolizing widsom/godly enlightenment.

    pretty :)

    I agree for the most part, OldOllie.
    In my art appreciation studies (random high school/college classes), teachers always kissed Jackson Pollock`s arse and was like LOOK SO AMAZING. But I always thought it was just paint splatters. I must not be "in tune" with fine art. Eh.

    "Art within art within... ARTCEPTION!"

    Sorry to steal your thunder but there`s already a name for that, it`s called Mise en abyme or the Droste effect.

    I don`t like the pollock, there`s no yellow in the bottom right to balance it out. Even one little dot would help.

    Johanvb sorry to steal your thunder: the droste effect is a repetition of the picture in the picture. This is not a reappearance of the same picture (the droste effect)

    @alpensepp
    Your argument sounds like something people made up afterwards, because the horns are actually based on a translation error. The Hebrew word for "radiant in glory" was mistaken for "horned" by biblical translator St. Jerome. Even Michelangelo made a statue with a Moses with horns.
    So much for the literal word of God, eh? ;-)
