djwajda not all cops are bad for sure, but you know, you just need few rotten apples to infect all the basket. What i can`t understand is why "good" cops don`t sues the bad collegues and why in most of cases bad cops are protected from polices departments. This is the real reason why i am really suspicious on the cops categories. I am totally aware that we need cops in our society, but i can`t find a reasonable explanation on why the bad cops are protected from the office authorities in most of cases. You know, i think that if a cop act bad he must go straight to jail with the aggravating of having dishonoured the corp they represent. In reality bad cops just get some disciplinary action and they go back in the street really fast or even they are protected so they don`t have to pay nothing for their bad behaviours. Citizens sees all this as a deep infringement against the justice. Is like mafia.

@piperfawn: It is called a Union. Not one union is worth it in this day and age. They don`t protect workers` rights; they protect bad employees not doing their job.

Yeah, this one video of a good act wipes away the 600 videos of cops abusing power. Not all cops are bad, just 90% of them.

    Wait a second.

What`s he doing with a product that gives an Apple sticker, if he can`t afford 1 $50 registration?

Lets face it, certain professions attract certain people- police do have a certain amount of power and quite a few abuse it- that is human nature and quite difficult to guard against. However- generalisations are unfair- many police are decent hard working people who want to help- and some are arseholes. Pretty much like any other job really...

@auburnjunky: Perhaps he bought the sticker, or bought the Apple item years ago when he was in a better financial situation?

AJ - no worse than the local paper here showing all the parents and kids lining up for their free school supplies playing on their iPads.

It makes people feel better when they tell themselves that poor people have ALWAYS been poor. If it`s not true, it reminds them that any change of circumstance could throw themselves into poverty and then they are the one that`s supposed to feel guilty about owning something nice they bought when things were better. Every one of us here could end up needing public assistance if something bad happened. Don`t kid yourself that it could never happen.

    "generalisations are unfair"
    Why?
They make generalizations about us. In their view we are all "perps" who are guilty of something, they just have to find out what & make an arrest.

Huh! $2000.00 a year for insurance on my truck in Vancouver B.C. and that is with a 43% discount. All that and $1.44 per liter for gas.
