Cute ad. An in-movie ad that actually *sounds* like an ad for once.

That looks exactly nothing like a Sentinel! Just because it has purple paint doesn`t mean it`s a damn Sentinel.

I know, let`s throw some pink and purple paint on Johnny 5 and call him a Sentinel.

why doesn`t it look like a sentinel? sure it might be smaller in person (meaning it might be likely they make it bigger on screen) but it`s a humanoid robot with guns-about the only thing that`s constant about them. every story has rights to interpretation and imo this looks more realistic than other versions in the comics

    all the white
the big empty plastic thing taking up 90% of its abdomen
all the exposed wires and hydraulics

all they had to do was take a cyberman and switch the heads and give it a new paint job

this is NOT a sentinel. never will be no matter how big you make it on screen. also, if you are going to make it bigger on screen then why make it that damn big in the fist place? sentinels are HUGE and needs to remain as such. this thing is just going to piss them off.

I`ve always wondered on the connection between the Marvel Super heroes world and the X-men world. I know they are connected, as the comics would lead me to believe, but is Trask Industries an anagram for Stark Industries? Is this some sort of secret conspiracy? Did I miss something in my life long nerdiness that I need to be reminded of? Please someone help. Are Trask and Stark related? This is gonna drive me crazy.

Good thing this isn`t made by the Japs. It would have octopus tentacles and rape us all!

Looks a bit small to be a sentinel, but in IMO, all is forgiven if the movie rocks! Cmon dweebs, give it a chance.

awesomebot - Two different worlds. Keep dreaming.

@turdburglar Thanks for the reassurance, bro. My comic collector roommate informed me that I am just an idiot, and that Stan Lee is like a million years old and only works with half the alphabet when naming things... makes sense.

The adjustable AC vent in his chest is a nice touch. That would come in really handy if you had to fight him on a hot day.

    "Damn nice job."
hmmm no, not even close. this is probably one of the worst/lamest things to come out of these horrible movies. if this is a sign of what the rest of the movie is going to be like then no thanks.

My first thought was built-in tumble-drier, but then I realised the door was too high.
I`ll go along with Ollie`s suggestion.

OMG - i`ve never seen something like this before ... except maybe in almost every science-fiction movie of the last 10 years. This is so boring - i haven`t seen Transformers 2 yet because i`ve had enough after the first one. No more giant robots anymore, please! This is entertainment for 5 year olds!

Oh, I get it now. It`s a Mk II Sentinel. Check his left leg: "SNTL2".

Much more forgivable. Still doesn`t look like a Sentinel, though.

I thought Sentinels were 40-50 foot tall.
