I can totally see myself having a drink at ""The Hung, Drawn and Quartered,"" you know when I"m in a macabre mood.

There`s a club called Someplace Else in Valdosta GA, and a bar called "The No Name Bar" in the small town of Willacoochee GA. And there used to be a restaurant outside of Hahira GA call It Don`t Matter.

I used to go to the Skiving Scholar when I was at University a few years ago. It was a bit of a dive to be honest, but funny to see it here.

There was a pub in Hamilton, Ontario called the Pheasant Plucker and my grandfather was delighted by the name because he presumed that after one too many one may slur it into the Pleasant F*cker.

There used to be a pub relatively close to where I live called `The Man in Space`. I think it was closed because people kept selling drugs there.

If you like some of the odd village names you may enjoy a book called The meaning of Liff (double f) written by Douglas Adams (Hitchhikers guide fame) and John Lloyd. It gives spoof meanings to the village names. V funny.

I know another Goat and Compass, cannot think where though. Quite a few pubs have very odd names though- these are only a few.

also in portsmouth is a road called Fawcett road. They have a bar on that road called the Fawcett Inn. And they make their own brew, it`s called FAWCETT INN CIDER.
