Vegetarian poutine?

That has to be against the law in Canada.

MmmYUM! Canadian tradition to put on a few extra layers for the winter. Thats where poutine comes in <3

The box looks like it`s from Smoke`s Poutinerie - they have a huge list of different kinds of poutine for regular, chicken, beef, pork and vegetarian.

I don`t know about that dish Noamski but I`m hoping that the Ethiopian restaurant on sea front Allenby in Tel Aviv will still be there for me when I return.

On a side note, the US is no longer the fattest developed nation. That honor now goes to Mexico. Congratulations my friends south of the border.

RobSwindol: It`s cheese curd, one of the two staples (see Killerhipo below). As a rule, we don`t do poutine out west, and what little I`ve tried is nothing to write home about.
any canadian here disposable on inviting me for a week?
@piperfawn: Come on over! Anytime! But... it`s 2,000KM to the good poutine... :-/

I see cheese on there: cheese curd (the proper kind, iirc) and gravy too!

@RobSwindol: Top middle looks like chicken nuggets? Bottom middle looks like sweet & sour pork... *drools* IDK for certain! I`m far away from Quebec! lolz!

@Killerhipo there is cheese down there, it just doesn`t look like it cause it`s a weird translucent colour and melting(which I`m sure you know it`s not supposed to do). Obviously not fresh (<2days).

Not bad but as a Quebecer (the true home of the poutine)I must add it looks like it`s missing the two staples of a poutine, the cheese and the gravy. BTW the fries are supposed to get soggy. Sorry for bursting your bubble.

Ewww...

The fries would get soggy as poo, really quickly. And is that corn I see?

Also, what`s the crap in the upper middle? Looks like dog food.

Looks delicious!

@NNoamfer: My Dad used to make something similar for Sunday Breakfast! Never told us what was in it... (chicken heart, gizzard, liver,)

Spotted the chips (fries) hiding underneath which makes it a total win.

Damn! That looks fantastic. I`ve gotta look to see if there are restaurants around Dallas or Shreveport that sell poutine. Never had it, always wanted to try it.

I`d eat the poo out of that. Check out Meorav Yerushalmi, It`s like this and common around here.
