@emmettyville: Those aren`t pixels, those are spider eggs... (Unless you`re joking, in which case the "lols" are on me!)

Cool pic, people have no need to fear spiders. Inanimate toy dolls on the other hand.....

I have been bitten by a spider and i was near to lose my left harm if not my life, cause the venom was reaching the glands of my harm pit, but i don`t go around killing all spiders i meet, only the one i don`t trusth and i recognise as dangerous. I am a kind of Spiderman but i don`t wear googles in my civil life.

@Piper, good on you for letting her be; a cellar would have a tough time puncturing human flesh but they are incredibly proficient hunters.

Hmm i think will let her alive, spiders are good against mosquitos and since this kind of spider is not dangerous i don`t see the reason to kill this creature. And you can`t see it from this photo but she have created a perfectly round, nearly unbelivable to find such a round perfection in nature, sphere of web all around herself to protect the hatching,i have so much respect for such a perfect creation to kill her.

Gerry yes i have done this photo in super macro,i was near the spider like 3/4 mm with the camera. She is still there and didn`t have never moved in 2 days,is like in a coma. I think she will move only after the eggs disclosure.

McThstlpnts,
"My irrational fear of spiders"
Whoever told you it is irrational? Many spiders can kill and the only way to tell one from another is to get close...in killing range. It is a totally rational fear! Self preservation.

@ piperfawn....you took that photo? You?!
Well done. I`ve done photography for years but I just photographed nude men. I won`t post any, I don`t` want banned....again.

Well done you!

My irrational fear of spiders has evolved over the years...I now start to feel nauseous if I look at pictures of them too long. *gag*

I love cellar spiders...rather miss living in a basement apartment with whole colonies to keep me company.
Beautiful photograph Piper.
