Wall Street doesn`t produce anything, it`s a service industry.

Well done to occupy for doing a fantastic PR job, they`re so hated, people have sided with the dodgy dealers and corrupt bankers.

mctabbin - that is a great idea, except that there is no way the banks would allow that. they have already shown that they are in cahoots together. they spend massive amounts to make sure "their" laws get passed and if someone even got this type of idea some sort of of backing they would make sure it would become illegal. just look at how they have been screwing us with intrest rates AND THEY WERE CAUGHT DOING IT! did you ever hear of anyone being punished? thats because they bought their way out of it.

Honestly that would be a lot better then year after year of bad legislation. The purpose of congress (and parliaments in general) is to make lawmaking difficult.

They`re still dissastified with their current predicament enough to persistently protest until they get arrested? It`s not 2008 anymore. Clearly, their time could be better spent either by getting together to create a start-up to invent their own banking business company with a better business model. Or finding a job... Heck, even voluteer gigs to build up resume.

It`s interesting how passive people protest and complain, when they are clearly capable of thinking outside the box. But since they are getting arrested. Then something is wrong with their protesting strategy as people who do think outside the box, are above the law. Work smart, not hard people!

If the problem is that business has bedded government, then we must fault government. Business does not claim to be moral nor to serve the interests of all; rather, business openly claims to care primarily about profit.

On the other hand, government claims to serve the interests of all constituents. Contrary to business, government openly claims to be moral.

Therefore, if an immoral union occurs between the two, we must blame government - who has falsely claimed to serve our interests. Business was simply behaving the way they have always claimed to - in their own interests.

hippies are doouchebag homeless people, so camping out in a city is just a place to stay ....if you get arrested you get a nice shower and three square meals and you become a martyr.

@turdy: LOLZ! Not really. you`d prefer the 27 Party systems of Italy, France and Greece? Canada has 4 or 5 `major parties` and we get NOTHING done...

So OWS is still going on? = lolz!

iirc: The "Washington Anti-Vietnam Protest Camp" went on for 5 YEARS after the Vietnam War ended... hippies are never happy!

The problem is two fold. Those who have the authority to arrest the bankers are smart enough to know how to arrest them or why they are even guilty. On the flip side, those smart enough to understand the financial system don`t get jobs as cops.

mykunter - Are you calling me Conservative? I agree with holygod, chalket and smagboy more often than 5cats and OldOllie. McGovern is a bit more right than me but I love how sdhe pisses off the europeans and hippies. Hg, chalket, OldOllie and 4 1/2cats will stand their ground on any subject, as if a quick google search and the bias media is enough to make an expert on any subject. I am solid on gun control and I know our government if fuct, but I don`t claim to have the solution. Everything else is internet crap, not worthy of a serious opinion.
I just realized that you don`t care what I think. Damn you, you got me.

There is no way of communicating with you. You are completely defined by party lines. Say what you want...you know it`s true. You take a concrete stance on every issue, regardless of your knowledge on the subject, based on party lines. 100% conservative. That is your only purpose. When something has only one purpose, it is called a tool. Suck a handsome republican d!ck, you conservative [email protected]#tard.

Ollie, you can also Google "Romney Wall Street Contributors" and get similar information.
It doesn`t matter who`s president. Congress writes tax code and those are the ones they`ve purchased.

Wow turd.
I identify with you and OldOllie and 5Cats and McGovern more than the chalket and HolyGod and Smagboy1... etc, etc.

So, what`s the answer?

If you define mindless turd-flinging as making sense, then I guess you make perfect sense.

OldOllie - Made no sense? You are completely retarded. Crystal clear! Maybe I should speak in your native language:

Oldollie stupid libtard. Libtard libtard liberal s#!t libtard!

Get it, stupid? YOU ARE THE DEFINITION OF THE BI-PARTY SYSTEM. When these stupid liberal hippie pooheads refer to "sheeple" they are talking about s#@theads like you. Make no mistake...you are every bit as stupid as those god damn liberal entitled hippies.

It`s how they distract us from the real pooheads...our politicians on both sides.

Here ya go, Chicklet:

*Clicky-clicky*

As for the two schmucks below you, their posts made no sense whatsoever, so I`m not going to bother with a response. My post speaks for itself, and obviously neither of them have anything of substance to refute it.

Until and unless you someday cite a source or link to some evidence for your idiotic trolling, EVERYTHING you say is BULLSH|T. Period.

@Bravosmith, @Solvent, @djwada
Keep drinking the kool-aid, kiddos! Perhaps you`ll eventually gain the wisdom to see through their propaganda. Bottom line: "Wall Street is full of `crooks`".

Well said Mad gremlyn.

OldOllie will never get it though. There are many problems with Americas government these days. Our 2 party system is BY FAR the biggest problem with America today. OldOllie is the epitome of bipartisanship. By splitting into two groups, those in charge can constantly blame the other side, which helps to divide us.....

OldIdiot, I`m sure you`ve heard to the old saying "Divide and conquer." You have no idea that you`re the divided and therefore, the conquered. Idiot. Liberal, conservative - you`re the conquered. Old and dumb, what`s that like?

Those who produce things are the ones these parasites steal from. The CEOs for example who paid lobbyists to get Congress to pass new tax laws that allowed them to dip into their employees pensions. Now that it`s time to pay that money back they claim bankruptcy and blame unions for their exorbitant benefits.

Thieves are thieves, even if they buy politicians to make their thievery legal.

The "Thieves" on Wall Street aren`t the average workers, it`s the CEO and bankers who packaged high-risk stocks and sold them to us labled "Low Risk". In short they lied to get our money. They used a bait-and-switch tactic that is illegal in all states. They stole the retirement savings of countless people, placing the burden of caring for those people squarely on a younger generations tax-shoulders.

The "Thieves" on Wall Street have a job buying a selling to make a living for themselves and those that choose to take the risk and invest the money they earn. What are the "occupiers" doing? Why don`t they go get a drating job?
