"Indian, Asian, Korean"
of course I wouldn`t call them black. They`re yellow.

If I didn`t notice the tagline I wouldn`t have realized that girl is black...and I`m still not sure.

Right cause caucasian doesn`t have an ancestral race tied to it and is just a description of the color of one`s skin. But if you say black/negro you don`t mean Indian, Asian, Korean, Arabic, etc. you mean African.

Wow some interesting stuff from an at the time progressive publication but the most indicative of the prevailing view on of the time is, "The woman`s sexual role demands merely that she be compliant . . . ." How weird to it would have been to live 1943-1954, to know in a span of ten years that you were valuable and then nothing in the eyes of the media.

Negro & Caucasian are technically correct.
Except white`s don`t get pissy when you call them "Caucasian".

@McThstlpnts: Terrific find! The article is about why Lesbians marry... MEN! Not each other = lolz! Which makes perfect sense for the 50`s.

Next issue: "Why Musicians Choose White Wives"
Perhaps a nice, white, lesbian?
