@carmium Just ribbing. Only because it was in the Great White North. I couldn`t find one that says, "Badminton players will flip you the birdie".

It used to be you NEVER hit a man when he`s down. Apparently MMA had turned everyone into chicken$#!+ fighters now.

Simple rule: if you hit a man when he`s down, you deserve to get shot.

bacon pie: Really? Because we`d never be so crude as to turn a logo into a vulgar insult to all our American neighbours.

Poor Gerry, I get where you`re coming from :) But that sound (the long a) is spelled ay while the short e sound is "É›"

Eh, is the proper spelling of the Canadian slang. I find it`s a word that I use constantly, and yet the minute I try to give an example of it, it sounds forced and doesn`t flow. The best I can offer is that it`s usually used as a "huh?" "excuse me?" or at the end of a sentence to turn it into a question "The US really botched that one, eh?" ;)

Nitpickers are nitpicky.
"Aye" the long "a" sound.
As in Plain, game,

"Eh" is a short e "head" "bed".
At least in the US it is. I don`t speak Canook.

It says Canadian Open finals ... you should know though, that unless the sport is Hockey or Curling Canadians are never in the finals of anything. Both of these teams were Thai ...
Lucky no one had a gun. That`s killin` actions right there!
Here`s the problem with that. No one would care if that a55hole got shot either! Your case lost to a moutain of evidence contrary to what the media tried to brainwash you to belive. You can`t assualt people without repercussions they used to call that comon sense. Now go home and cry to Obmummy about it.
