Could not make it past half way thru the vid, this guys voice is too annoying.

Should bush and cheney be put on trial for their crimes...most definitely.
Should Obama be put on trial for his crimes...not sure. He inherited the war. He didn`t create it, but he did end it. Not saying he is a saint, because he is not. He is a dickhead.

I would love to see bush and cheney on trial and convicted. Mostly because it might send a message to future presidents and commanders that they are not above the law. At the moment our gov. does whatever they want with no fear of repercussions.

Obama should most definitely not be put on trial for the war in Iraq. He ended it as quickly as was probably safe to do.

However he could have ended torture the minute he took office and FOR THAT he should be put on trial.

I`ll be interested to read the IAB debate on this. Question: This RT report makes it sound like the arrest of George W. Bush for war crimes is a possibility. Is that RT`s pipe dream? Or something more realistic? Unless I`ve been seriously out of the loop on this (always possible), I`m thinking there isn`t a snowball`s chance in Hades of that happening.

HG - I said maybe, because I admittedly do not know enough to say for sure. From what I have heard I would also say no, he shouldn`t. I still think he is a liar and a dickhead, which is right on par for US politicians.

IMO bush`s lies caused war and the death of hundreds of thousands (maybe millions by now) of people. A war that the American public did not want. This is not democracy when government goes against the wishes of the public. F@CK BUSH!!@!

I am a fan of justice. People, including presidents, should be held responsible for their actions.

In this case justice is only one reason I would like to see bush pay. Mostly I think it would send a message to future POTUS`s that they will be held accountable for their decisions. I only wish the message were sent from the American people.

The main reason I keep harping on in IAB about US crimes against other peoples of the world is to break you out of your bubble. You have to be told in language you`d understand, that the world considers American foreign policy to be illegal and evil. Prosecution and execution of GWB and BHO would send a powerful message to future presidents about the legal parameters of their power.

Richard Cheney? Never heard him called that. Dick. His name is Dick. Dick Cheney.

But, yeah, they convicted Lynndie England and Charles Graner of abuse of prisoners at Abu Ghraib, despite that they adhered word for word to Donald Rumsfeld`s memo permitting use of nudity as an interrogation technique. They were, very literally, just following orders.

I don`t know about all of these accusations but Donald Rumsfeld issued orders in violation of international law, but the enlisted soldiers who carried out the orders got convicted because, well, they were the ones who actually, you know, DID IT.

Assassination is illegal. If we are going to go after U.S. Presidents for illegal activity, it was the Clinton administration that had Pablo Escobar assassinated in 1993. But he was a bad guy so no one is complaining about that.

By the way, Bill Clinton is my hero. He even tried to get Congress to go after this terrorist group called Al-Qaeda but Congress only wanted to bring impeachment charges against him for getting a BJ from an intern.

Our government does not care what the MAJORITY wants. Neither do you! You expect everything political to align with your retarded ideas. All of our presidents are horrible. Obama is a fag, but bush started a costly war which the public...and entire world was against! All of our presidents are pricks, bush went way too far. You are so F@CKING Republican, you can`t stand to hear anything bad about another republican.

"All of our presidents are pricks"

I was too young to judge too deeply at the time, but I rather liked Clinton. No torture, unnecessary wars, major terrorist attacks or overreaching surveillance that I`m aware of. Plus an absolutely booming economy and I got my first blowjob.

Now I`m not saying those last too were necessarily BECAUSE of him, but still.

It would be nice to think that past US presidents or UK Prime Ministers could be held under international law, but it`s just wishful thinking... international law is a lot easier for them to pressure and control than domestic law - that`s why it is only ever applied to people the US/UK governments and the other nations in the un security council want to see punished.

Clinton was the best president since Carter.

"It would be nice to think that past US presidents or UK Prime Ministers could be held under international law"

I would dearly like to see Blair and any guilty members of his parliament hung for their part. He had no business adopting Bush`s policies and I have never spoken to any British in person who agreed with going into Iraq or Afghanistan. Let the Americans fight their own damned wars of aggression.

I smh when Sunni terrorists blow up British targets. Terrorism works on the people, not governments. The British people weren`t behind it.

I`m confused as to how some people who claim that Obama cannot be held responsible for the current economic state - that economic activity represents actions from years prior - can also give Clinton credit for the economy during his reign.

The fact of the matter is that the economy was already starting to "boom" before Clinton became president.

At Least, That`s What Respectable Economists Say

Then again, most of you think Krugman, Bernanke, and Greenspan are respectable economists so what the hell would you know.

I`m not siding with anyone. I am simply comfortable to let the two idiot terrorist (Afghanistan/US) nations destroy each other. No need to get involved in that fight. Not our fight. It`s not like you helped in the war with the IRA (unless you count funding terrorism). I don`t want the UK to fund terrorism. I just don`t want to waste British lives when there are plenty of American soldiers to go around. NONE OF US IN THE UK SUPPORT YOU (except one particular lapdog)

If you are not going to put Obama and Hillary on trial for Benghazi then putting Bush on trial is just absurd. Were not both simply `acting on information the currently knew about`? Oh sure, toss out your `they are so not he same` theories. Have at it. Bottom line for me is that Bush was doing all he could to save this country and Obama et all are doing all they can to tear it down. Obama should be put on trial for far more than war crimes. IMHO, Obama is the worst president ever.

Your "HO" doesn`t count for anything because you are a partisan lemming, maybe the worst one on this site which is absolutely saying something.

4 americans die in the middle of nowhere middle east under Obama while 3,000 americans die in f.ucking new york city under bush, but obama is the WORST PRESIDENT EVER.

    Compare Sandy to Katrina.
Compare STARTING the war in Iraq to ENDING it.
Compare the embassy attack in Benghazi to the DOZEN embassy attacks under Bush.
Compare the change in economy during their presidencies.

I don`t think Obma is in the conversation for best president ever, but WORST? WORST EVER? He isn`t even the worst in the last decade.

Oh Benghazi and Iraq were THE SAME in your eyes.

    Let`s see:

4 deaths compared to 1,000,000+ deaths.
1 night compared to 8 years.
A planned intentional action vs a regrettable unforseen event.

In your mind did Obama PLAN benghazi? Did he know about the attack and intentionally let it happen? How deep does your right wing bubble dwelling insanity go? Just curious.

I like all this about "bush lied," you guys do know that the false information that Saddam had weapons of mass destruction came from the CIA and British Ministry of Defence, not the white house right? The CIA first started it when they received intel from an Iraqi source, code-named "Curveball," He said that he had seen the weapons himself and that they were nearly ready for use. The British Ministry of Defence sent former United Nations weapons inspector, David Kelly. He said he viewed and photographed two alleged mobile weapons laboratories.
In May 29, 2003 bush was quoted as saying "We found the weapons of mass destruction. We found biological laboratories. You remember when Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said, Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons. They`re illegal...

... They`re against the United Nations resolutions, and we`ve so far discovered two. And we`ll find more weapons as time goes on. But for those who say we haven`t found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they`re wrong, we found them."

He wasn`t lying, he was quoting bad data from the two intelligence agencies. The CIA didn`t formally recall "Curveball`s" reporting until May 2004, a whole year later, when they found out he had fabricated the whole story. And david Kelley`s mobile weapons laboratories, turned out to be trucks that inflated balloons. David kelly was he was called to appear on the 15 July before the parliamentary foreign affairs but never testified because he ingested 29 tablets of painkillers and committed suicide.

@ Richanddead: That`s a very naive interpretation of events. The White House put *enormous* pressure on the CIA to produce reports with the information they wanted to see. This was widely reported when that British memo was leaked that stated that "the intelligence and facts were being fixed around the policy."

Later when the whole WMD thing went to hell in a handbasket, Bush and Company disingenuously shrugged it off, saying in effect, "Hey, don`t blame us--we were given bad intelligence."

    @Squrlz4Sale: " That`s a very naive interpretation of events."

Lol why because it doesn`t support your partisan beliefs, sorry I`m not a conspiracy theorist. First off Curveball`s story began in November 1999 under Clinton we received him from German intelligence at the refugee center near Nuremberg. His testimony appeared in over appeared in more than 112 United States government reports between January 2000 and September 2001.

Lastly, I trust Factcheck.org over McClatchy they have known bias. McClatchy doesn`t cite their sources other than a few cherry picked statements and mentioning that Jack Straw who`s not even a part of the US gov had inside knowledge because he was a "close colleague" of Colin Powell. McClatchy is known for stunts like offering to reduce their subscription cost if you bought Obama`s book and complained in one of their article that the Public is mean to them, lol.

@Squrlz4Sale: read it, saw the responses to it, read all the coverage on it, read the criticism of it, saw that it went nowhere, and saw that it did not contradict anything I said. You keep trying though.

Lots of presidents should be arrested for this if you`re going to go after one. The current president is the biggest criminal and taker of freedoms we`ve ever had. But all you have to do is say "aw come on man, it`s just a conspiracy" and it will be believed as such, especially if you do the crime right under people`s noses. Most people (Obama supporters) have trouble seeing the forest through the trees...

@turdburglar, you`re right about one thing: I don`t give a loose dry f*** what the majority thinks about anything. Most people in this country are too stupid to be allowed to run loose in Wal-mart, let alone vote.

But you`re dead wrong about my politics. Just because I think liberal Democrats are a bunch of idiot f***tards, that doesn`t make me a conservative Republican. I`m a libertarian. I generally vote Republican because unfortunately, they are the only viable alternative to the Democrats who I believe are all stupid, evil, and/or insane.

I have no problem hearing bad things about Republicans; I have a problem with outright lies like the one you just told about Bush starting the Iraq war all by himself when everyone was against it. The Iraq war resolution passed the House and Senate with large majorities including a majority of Senate Democrats. Of course, that didn`t stop them from turning traitor as soon as they saw a political advantage in doing so.

@ Richanddead: Trust me, I totally get it:

    (1) You think Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld were hapless victims of bad intelligence that misled them into an Iraq War they never wanted to fight; and

    (2) You think virtually every climatologist in the world is perpetrating a hoax regarding global warming for financial gain--yet you call *me* a conspiracy theorist.

I don`t often say it on here, but I really don`t think we have anything to talk about. I have zero interest in going in endless circles with you. I stepped into this thread only because you were prattling on so cluelessly. I`ll do my best to bite my tongue going forward.

    @Squrlz4Sale:
    1) I never said they didn`t want to fight Iraq, anyone who commits mass genocide in their country has most of the US wanting their head. But yes they believed bad intelligence from sources around the word to initiate an attack. Thats also the reason why congress passed The Iraq Resolution that allowed military force in 2002 with bipartisan support. Or were they part of the conspiracy too? And yes factcheck agrees with me, not you, as usual.

2)I don`t know where you got the "for financial gain" (although I do think AL Gore`s carbon credits did make him quite a lot of money) or the "every climatologist in the world is perpetrating a hoax regarding global warming" There are plenty of climatologists that do not believe in it.

Plus going back to that argument, my position was that global warming was not man made but natural, but I`m sure you didn`t notice because, as now, you lacked any facts and instead wrote a flurry of personal and ad hominem attacks in place of facts.

Lol, but please do keep you mouth shut, its probably the smartest thing you`ve said thus far.

@ Richanddead: I have good relationships with most conservatives on IAB because they have qualities I admire.

    OldOllie: Brilliant understanding of physics.
5Cats: Nice sense of whimsy and an affable nature.
CrakrJak: Strong faith and positive outlook; smart.
AuburnJunky: A gentleman I`d trust anywhere, anytime.
McGovern: Possesses a joi-de-vivre that cracks me up.
Gerry1of1: Immune from group-think; funny as all get-out.

But you? I see an arrogant kid whose cranium is crammed full of Fox News soundbites that you combatively regurgitate in shotgun fashion. In terms of personality, I`ve seen nothing, and I mean *nothing*, that`s redeeming.

You claim to have a degree; I see no evidence of it. You claim to be headed to grad school; if so, hurry: you`re still young enough for it possibly to effect a needed makeover.

In the meantime, please do the entire IAB community a favor and move to 4Chan.

@Squrlz4Sale: lol, no not a chance I like it here, but its nice to see that you are remembering all the details I told you about me, glad I made an impression with you. ;)

But just so you know I don`t get my news from fox, CNN, ABC, CBS, or MSNBC. Although from time to time I do change the channel to one of them just to see how the Zimmerman trial is going. I listen to the radio 90.1 FM which is C-SPAN radio, I even call in once a month.

You should listen to it, it would broaden your horizons. If you listen carefully you`ll know exactly who I am. I called in last Sunday on June 30th, and talked about the Presidents new climate legislation. Brought up a lot of what I had posted earlier, even though about our discussion and chuckled.
Last night they had a wonderful talk about the supreme court justices, then a few political scientist discussed the likeness of congress to the roman senate during Caligula, and then in the morning a talk about college tuition. Two out of the three were reruns from yesterday though, unfortunately. Their going to play the Nixon and LBJ tapes this weekend too, I can`t wait. I never miss it actually, the other radio stations usually change to health segments or retirement savings advice during the early mornings.

Where do you get your news?
