Ah yes, the grand ol` 1796 Model.

Hard to believe people were wrecking cars while Napoleon Bonaparte was conquering across France isnt it?

Oh, wait, its not hard to imagine it at all, since such a claim is clearly imaginary.

I wouldnt call that first `car` a `car` as much as its more of a trackless locomotive... being a mobile steam engine and all.

Now when they say 8.7 million for that Bugatti, do they mean how much it would cost in monetary terms today or how much it`s actually worth today? Ralph Lauren`s Bugatti 57 SC Atlantic is currently valued around $40,000,000.

The Scirocco is a warm, dry, dusty wind off North Africa across the Mediterranean. They missed that one.

What wind is the VW Up! named after?
Or perhaps they`re starting to name them after cartoons - having run out of wind.

A bit inaccurate, there. The (steam-driven) vehicle was built in 1769, but the alleged accident was in 1771. Whether the accident actually happened is apprently disputed, though. As for the first traffic death, they`ve managed to mix up the digits, it`s meant to be 1869.

The electric traffic light is inaccurate. The first electric traffic lights were installed in Cleveland, Ohio in 1914.
