I`ve visited the Sedlec Ossuary - never heard any tales of haunts other than the biddies that sit in the town square and gossip.

Further, I am surprised if they are just count macabre places like that, they don`t include the Italian catacombs of the Capuchin Monks in Palermo - I would think a bunch of mummified and preserved bodies would be more creepy than a bunch of bones.

OK...So lots of tales of `thousands died here` kind poo........ but no stories of ghost encounters nevermind actual evidence of such.

very lame `top 5` post...even worse than the usual horsepoo.

Speaking of things that could drive you crazy (a nearby post): "...Bhangarh which has laid abandoned for nearly 400 years."
LAIN! Not laid, unless it has been making eggs all this time or something.

Considering that there`s no such thing as a "haunted" place, any 5 random spots on the earth would be equally justified in making that same claim.

When ppl see a ghost they always see it fully dressed e.g. military uniform, I always wondered do clothes have a soul? who made the clothes they`re wearing?

The phrase "Most Haunted" makes me want to rip my hair out. It simply doesn`t make sense. We have yet to find a single shred of solid evidence that even one ghost exists anywhere in the entire world. So how can one argue that one spot has more ghosts than others?

    THAT DON`T MAKE NO SENSE!

Ironically it is back stories like this that strongly contribute to people working themselves into thinking they have seen something.. Derren Brown`s show showing how easy it is to make people think there are ghosts present is pretty interesting

I was in a band that played every Thursday night for more than a year, at a really old inn (John Stone`s Inn/Tavern) in Ashland, MA. A few years ago, the inn was featured in a "Ghost Hunters" episode. I found it fascinating how these guys could take an ordinary old building and completely over-dramatize everything about it. Even the manager and the bartenders, who have all told me personally that they`ve not witnessed any spooky events, were saying how spooky the place was on that show.

But hey, a man`s gotta get paid I guess.

You don`t have to believe in hauntings to appreciate the surreal appeal of some of these scenes.

Ghosts or not, it would be interesting to see that place in India.

Re: Gettysburg. Why would you hear the sounds of gunfire? Are they saying the ghosts of the rifles and cannons are making noise? Doesn`t make sense.

Conclusively prove that any one of these places is haunted at all before trying to claim to be "most haunted".
