    Everything in this video is probably accurate, and I`m not trying to bash Farris`s efforts or anything. However, the video has a definite propaganda feel to it.

    This video has so few facts as to be almost worthless.

    Not to toss a wrench into the one-sidedness of all this, but the guy she was trying to recall was Dale Washam, the Pierce County Assessor. The people he was supposedly `harassing` in his office weren`t doing their jobs. He was elected, but those under him are union, and a notoriously corrupt one at that. They weren`t doing physical assessments, instead relying on computer models to guess for them. He took them to task, and then got sued for millions by a couple of the people who were half-assing their jobs.

    Not that any of this matters. She failed to get the required signatures for the recall anyway, and then he lost his bid for re-election to Mike Lonergan.

    @Profworm

    That still doesn`t make the whole PDC thing right though. On top of which what purpose does it serve for the government to go out and assess the value of people`s homes? Such a thing is simply NOT set in stone.

    So, based on just rumors she`s ready to fire the politician. Just accusations with no proof. I wonder if she`d like to get canned for gossip?

    This video is highly manipulative. Plays against your feelings of fairness without actually giving the key facts that could let us determine if her actions were reasonable or not. I don`t trust this video or its message.

    I`m in no way suggesting she is right or wrong, just that this video is sketchy at best.

    posted by Crakrjack propaganda is highly likely. I`ll research it though before making a decision.

    "what purpose does it serve for the government to go out and assess the value of people`s homes?"

    It`s used to calculate your fair share of property tax.

    You try protesting bad government in China.

    When a meat processing plant burned down in Dehui, Jilin killing over 120 workers, relatives showed up to look for loved ones and were promptly beaten up by plain clothes officers.

    Isn`t this why we have things called "elections"? Next time, try just voting against politicians you don`t like - don`t short-circuit the process with a frivolous and unnecessary recall.

    Gerry: All she tried to do was form recall petition group, which we have the right to do. But then faceless bureaucrats have tried to stifle and silence her into submission.
