@ Erikthevikin: Lucky you, then. She seems nice--this freakout of hers was very endearing.

This is part of my evening news, so I saw this live! Kristi`s now pushing 4.8 million YouTube views. The spider seems to be gone, but became a sort of weather mascot for a few days.

Krowley: This isn`t the first time I`ve come across this claim that Canadians say "surry" for "sorry." I don`t know anyone who says surry, unless they live in Surrey. Do Americans say "so-ree" or something? `Cause I`ve never noticed it on TV or in movies. Please clarify!

we don`t say surry. mericans just have to try really hard to make fun of us. like they haven`t butchered the english language to the extreme. americans say ruf, its a dratin ROOF like ROO with an f.. there is no U in roof.. crick? wtf is a crick? its a creek.. say it proper.. and how about weata.. its water.. i could go on.. i haven`t even got to the south yet... oh and one that really gets me is the imaginary R`s that eastcoast USA seem to think every word has..

    greenbasterd,
A lot of these are geographic, but you`re right. Another one that always pains me is "meera" instead of mirror. Then there are also things like writing "would of" instead of would have. Ack!
