This will sound insensitive, but I dont give a poo.

Sure, nice story, but just the same as all the other jews which died. I should know, half my family tree stops dead in the early 1940s.

"How do they know? Her Father?"

July 22 1941. The girl next door is getting married. Anne Frank is leaning out of the window of her house in Amsterdam to get a good look at the bride and groom. It is the only time Anne Frank has ever been captured on film. At the time of her wedding, the bride lived on the second floor at Merwedeplein 39. The Frank family lived at number 37, also on the second floor.

Great to see. I had no idea there was any video footage of her.

Cool, and Byfield- that is the point. Anne is a real person, an individual- not just part of faceless millions. It makes things easier for us to grasp- and for future generations to relate to.

@Byfield: The point of Anne Frank is how her story helped reach out to the rest of the world to humanize what was going on in the world. Certainly, many others died, but it`s stories like hers that made it sound like FAR more than a crass statistic.
