After the internet bombarded them with complaints things are changing for the better. Is it too little too late?

And their about-face surely had nothing to do with customers saying "drat THAT" and choosing the Playstation 4-to-1. lol.

After everything they have said that proved they not only don`t care about their customers, but find their opinions laughable I say too little too late. You can`t insult me and mock me when I disagree with your policies and then expect me to come running back with open arms when you finally change your mind. Like I said on their forum; Too Little Too Late! Next time don`t take your customers for granted!

Game consoles are dying. They`re desperately trying to find a new niche in a market saturated with customers who already own computers that can out-perform your gameboxes.

If they can`t adapt to the changed market, they will die. As someone who grew up with an N64, and nights where there were so many people in one room playing that the loser had to shamefully hand off their controller to someone else...it`s a bit sad.

Can`t be helped, though. So it goes.

Microsoft lost me as a gaming customer back when they decided to make Halo a Xbox exclusive. Some of us can`t afford three consoles but can justify the expense of a gaming computer because we use it "for work" too. Once your franchise locks me out if I don`t buy specific hardware I`m out.

As someone who is not going to buy either of them, I still want to see the XBOX crushed just for the microsoft exec`s [email protected] `we have a product for you, the XBOX 360!` comment.

I hate the XBox.
Ironically, I hate Apple.

So with computers I support Microsoft, and with gaming consoles, I support Nintendo... with Sony at a very close second.

What Micro$hit says, and what they do are often two different things. Besides, DRM is code; they can flick it off now and on again in an update once you`ve bought their market research machine. I`m with @normalfreak2, they lost an Xbox customer at their unveiling, PS4 here I come.

We`ll just think of some other way to bleed our customers dry.

I won`t go back. It`s pretty clear where Microsoft wants to take Xbox. i`m not supporting them one iota. They just turned an Xbox guy into a Playstation fan.

I`d say it is. Over the past couple of weeks, they made it clear what their position was on DRM to the point they had their PR at E3 defending it. Now they have decided to change it and nobody finds that even the slightest bit suspicious?

Even so, I find it baffling that people are crawling back to them now. There`s nothing stopping them from trying this again in the future, and it just shows how easily swayed people are.
