Games sales on steam are for year old games or indies not the new games from major devs, microsoft will never lower the prices for those

@McGovern:

Why not? It happens on Steam all the time.
If successful, games on Xbox One will be as low as 20 bucks! That`s for a huge title. Could you imagine COD Ghosts or Assassin`s Creed 4 for 30 bucks?!
ROFL!!!! they`ll never lower prices they don`t care about gamers they care about money.

"Worst case scenario, steam has some absolutely awesome indie titles."

This makes me laugh my ass off.

All Microsoft is trying to do, is introduce a Steam-like service to the masses on consoles.

If successful, games on Xbox One will be as low as 20 bucks! That`s for a huge title. Could you imagine COD Ghosts or Assassin`s Creed 4 for 30 bucks?! Microsoft is trying to bring that to all the ingrates.

normalfreak2: the only reason i would have to buy one is for the exclusives. i heard that one of their bigwigs said that if we don`t want the always online feature to just stick with the 360 anyway...so maybe that means that all of the XBOne games will go to the 360 anyway? if so id never buy one...

@normalfreak I know, right? Only the games might swing it. And perhaps the new kinect for some people.. I`m pretty much the same as JDplaysFF on this one

I think it was a total spin fail on Microsoft`s part. Only one iffy policy (used games) the rest was spin fail.

@normalfreak2 -

No kidding. I was a ps2 guy, then an xbox360 guy, and now it looks like I`ll be a ps4 guy.

Worst case scenario, steam has some absolutely awesome indie titles. Let the giants duke it out.

I had read somewhere that Nintendo is 1/3 the size they were about 6 or so years ago. I have no idea what truth is behind that, if any, but I would think the WiiU has set them back a little. I have only seen them in stores and literally don`t know a single person who has one, let alone anyone who even has interest in buying one.

The reason nintendo always stays in the background, becoming a success and laughing at the competition?

Simple. Nintendo value Gameplay above everything else. It`s served them well for 30 years and will serve them well for another 30 years.

I can`t imagine why anyone would purchase a XBOX after everything Microsoft said at E3.
