    A good addition would be a male betta (Siamese fighting fish). They go pretty nuts over a perceived rival in a mirror.

    It takes a smart animal like a crow to figure out about mirrors. I swear I saw a blonde that couldn`t figure it out till someone told her to follow the woman in the mirror when applying lipstick.

    Dogs want to play with the image in the mirror.
    Cats want to kill it.

    Dogs = Awesome
    Cats = Suck

    There are very few animals that can pass Gallup Jr.`s mirror test. There`s a variation of the test for dogs that uses yellow snow (not kidding) since dog`s primary sense is smell, not sight. Dogs, cats, neither knows it`s him/herself in the mirror.

    The most understated phenomenon of the mirror test is the exact moment when an animal realizes it`s own reflection, because at that precise moment we know exactly what the animal is thinking. Kind of inspiring when you think about it.

    Patch: But what does it mean when our current li`l feline darlin` is shown a mirror and she doesn`t show the slightest interest? Does she comprehend what a mirror is?
