This is stupid. How is it a safety issue?

Is it like some creeper who only ever *thought* about snatching a child is suddenly going to go through with it now? Because of smart phone technology?

    A creeper is gonna creep.

So someone could find a pic of someone being horribly abused by a circus clown with a purple 10" strap on dildo and metatag it with the ABC Action News dressing room?

Yeah, there is a crazy risk involved. Just like how being alive increases your risk of death by 100%!

Save yourself some time. Simply cross reference a facebook user name with a new piece of technology called, a phonebook.

    Surprised this wasn`t Fox News.

If someone is going to track your kid, it`s just as easy to follow them around as it is to use the Internet. The only real recourse is to keep them locked up, inside, until they are old enough to carry a gun! **Rolls eyes***

Sheer stupidity and panic. What would a person do with this info that they couldn`t do with some psychotic style stalking? If a person is going to go to this length to track a kid, then there`s little you could do to stop against it. Crazy finds a way.

Sheer BS too. I turned on the GPS on my phone, took a picture and posted it directly on FB. The posted pic has all the metadata stripped away. Didn`t even have the same file name. Not only are they fear-mongering, they are flat out lying.
