@McGrendle but the thing with technology like computers, smartphones tablets 3d printers. Is by the time of the third or 4th generation they`re cheaper. They`ve already been getting downward pressure from kickstarter 3d printers.

I have consistently said this is a development that in a few years will cause problems for law enforcement as the tech get`s cheaper and crims start to utilise it.

Maybe in the US they`re a thriving business, not soo much in western Europe where I was saying this is more of a problem.

Bakcagain21-"You may disagree with the premise,"

I dissagree with the argument.

Yes, a 3D printer will make it easier...for those that can afford it.

For those that can`t, they can either make one by hand, or pay someone to do it (which would currently be less than investing in a printer and software).

And home-made guns already are a thriving business. And the hand-made ones are much more easily concealable than the printed ones.

@McGrendle Yeah they did, Viking guy even submitted a post to prove it Also check out the original 3D gun printer post.

The point I originally made was, it takes some degree of skill to make a working firearm. With a 3D printer it takes clicking a couple of buttons. I was shot down as an some idiot who didn`t know what he was talking about. But you`ve just reiterated my point not everyone can make a gun easily and not everyone will be able to make a safe/stable gun.

Argument= 3D printing is more dangerous as it makes a lot larger potential population capable of making firearms.

Premise= 3d printing is easier than making firearms.

You may disagree with the premise, which you just said you don`t so the argument isn`t logically flawed....

Bakcagain21-"Yup making weapons is soo simple at home everyone can do it with no problem"

Some people can`t boil water without screwing it up.

No one has ever said that EVERYone can make firearms, so your argument lacks logic.

But, MANY people can manufacture firearms in any half-way appointed shop.

I have made several spud-guns in my life, none ever blew up on me. Give me a few days and I could make a pretty decent firearm.

Always remember, when you test fire anything for the first time, hold it right up next to your face.

Always wrap it with duct tape. At very least it will hold back some of the shrapnel.

It is nice that the first reaction when seeing something exploded in your friends hands and next to his face, is laugh. Instantly. Didn`t even give time to see if he lost a eye or fingers.

Get better friends!
