Sensible behaviour. I like it. it is duck approved- my duck feels her faith in the police reaffirmed.

I just saw an episode of Cops in Portland. Holy hell I couldn`t believe how nice those guys were. Even the criminals were a bit more easy going and agreeable.

MrOrange- Afternoon dear. Actually she does, policemen wear big boots and she likes big boots as long as they stay still. If they move about she is not so keen- given she is the size of a boot.

I know it`s a duck, but technically it`s still jay-walking. I think he let it off with a caution.

Madduck, Sweety. Was the firs thuman she came into contact with/fed her wearing boots? i know it works for geese (and they distinguish between different pairs of boots)

no MrOrange- she was reared by us from a day old duckling, and if we are not around she sits with my work boots or my sons skate shoes. I think it makes her feel as hough she is with a shoe flock. not keen on coloured shoes- but dark boots or heavy skate shoes are always made to feel welcome if they behave nicely. If they get aggressive she yells for help.
