I wanna hear one of these played with a Hang drum, and a Celtic wood flute.

THAT WOULD BE MY PARADISE.

@Gerry: She has a day job as an elementary school music teacher. So at this point in her career, no--although she does have an album coming out so that may change.

Luna Lee got a degree in fine arts back in South Korea for playing the gayageum (aka, Korean zither) in classical fashion. It was an instrument of the Korean royal court, and most of the compositions are quite staid. Once she had moved to the West (I believe she lives in Bermuda), a friend of Luna`s introduced her to the blues, and that`s when the magic of these recordings began.

I really get a kick out of watching her because traditional Korean girls show little emotion, which is still the case with Luna Lee. Although every once in a while, her shoulders will get into it for a few beats and you`ll see a flutter of emotion cross her face. I`m definitely a fan.

Sounds like she`s doing the Stevie Ray Vaughan version there. And doing it well.

It looks like one of those instruments that looks easy to play but is very difficult to master. Love the sound though and she is obviously talented.
