"Who would not think of fixing elevators and escalators, especially when it requires no professional qualifications"

    Gee, that`s reassuring.

#4 - Gas Driver. USED to pay well. My husband does that for a living, has for years. He used to earn $80K now its $55K. But that industry is now doing what all the others are...cutting the pay. Or just laying off and hiring Mexicans to do it for minimum wage or less. Thanks NAFTA. Thanks GW for expanding NAFTA. Mexicans can come up here and work then take their money home to Mexico. You can live a lot better on 8 bucks an hour down there than you can here. But we can`t live there, that`s not allowed.

Erm, $35,000 per year is a high paying job now? Remind me not to be a crime scene cleaner.

PS - my wife knows one. My wife helped the crime scene cleaner petition the county for worker`s compensation because the crime scene cleaner slipped in a pool of blood and was injured on the job. Do you really want that job for $35,000 a year?

I`m sorry. The horror mixed with irony is very funny. Again, I`m so, so sorry...

#9 is actually my job. But when you work for an entertainment company with lots of performers, you`re lucky to get more than 2 gigs per month.
