@alsobored: Good point!
WHO is to say that the "mural" doesn`t represent the "finished product" and that all the UGLY stuff "over the fence" is going to be torn down and replace with beautiful nature?
WHO can say that?
NO one! Not based on this "simplistic" picture...

#2: Perhaps they are building schools, hospitals and free care homes for the Elderly "on the other side"? Sure it LOOKS ugly now, so they put a mural so no one would be bothered by it! Soon it will be an Urban Utopia!
(Well, a cat can DREAM eh?)

This "political cartoon" FEEDS on your preconceived BIGOTRY! It`s a "cheap shot"...

yeah, but who defines what`s the real one.
like you could do this picture again and have the educated guy with his head blocking the view, or in the ceiling or something.

It may not be that bad over there, just a little cloudy and complicated.

Thanks, Ash! =^.^=

I think all the education is great, provided the guy on the books can see both views: the sunshine and butterflies AND the stuff over the wall. Sometimes what seems to happen is that with the education, you lose sight of the butterflies, and fall prey to cynicism and hopelessness.

Squrlz sometimes not knowing something is better than knowing it. The guy who has a better perspective can see all that is wrong in the world (over the wall). While the other guy can only see the flowers and butterflies, not knowing what lies beyond.

Ash, you`re gonna have to explain this to me. (I chewed on too much lead paint as a baby squirrel, I guess. Herpaderp.)
