I wanted to get a hairless cat. I had a perfect named picked out... "Scrotum". But they`re kinda expensive for a useless thing like a cat so we got demented rescue cats instead.

    LOL @Gerry`s comment.

Imagining dinnertime at the Gerry household: "Here, Scrotum! C`mon boy!"

@Gerry1: You just wanted to ask visitors: "Wanna pet my Scrotum?"
Or "Let me show you my Scrotum, he`s hairless!"

@Geogypsy: Zoom is a great cat! That book is the best in the series, children really love it! It`s fun to read too.

@5Cats, I just ordered the trilogy for my boys. I haven`t seen that book since I was six years old.

Thanks for the post, I probably wouldn`t have remembered until they were too old if not for the association.

I was in the book store some years ago and ran across a favorite book from my childhood. A battered copy of Charlottes Web. I know it`s written for 10 year olds but I`m proof a 45 year old man can enjoy it :)

    SPOILER ALERT!!!!
    So sad when Charlotte dies.

One of my childhood favorites! Long before I became a "cat person".

Sphynxes are the only cats that actually need baths, and it seems to me they don`t mind it one bit.

@5Cats: "And they ALL became good friends. All because of the green kite." The End.

That was cute. I borrowed it from a virtual library called openlibrary.org. (The illustrations weren`t as nice as the edition you posted)

@Gerry, children`s literature is great. My son wanted me to read him the Percy Jackson series (it`s about a camp for the children of Greek Gods) but it was too advanced for him. Instead I ended up inhaling all of the books by myself...then I got the rest of the author`s children`s series.

"They really need to clean their bathroom."

And you really need to seek professional help for your neuroses.
