...and to think the locals got all that done from money they won from the Australian lottery. Absolutely amazing. I have *got* to start entering that.

"What I want to know is why it was so easy for the photographer/daredevil to climb out of the building at that height."

I assumed he was a construction or maintenance guy. I`m sure there`s a light at the top to tell planes not to go there that needs to be changed occasionally ;)

There`s a video on here somewhere chronicling the height of this building while it was still under construction. (I could be talking years ago though)

What I want to know is why it was so easy for the photographer/daredevil to climb out of the building at that height.

"I wonder what the wind was like. I have no fear of heights- just an active fear of falling. If my brain understands I am safe it is all good- but no harness and a wind- forget it!! "

I`m the same way. I can ride the rides that go off the side of the Stratosphere in Vegas and zip line in the jungle no problem but I almost had a panic attack at the Grand Canyon because they didn`t have many protective railings. Had to walk way on the opposite side of the walking path but still barely made it with my heart racing.

I like the way that they specifically designed all the pool and landscaping so that it looks awesome from up there. Coolbeans.

I lived there when it was being built and it really does stick out above the skyline. It`s massive.
I left before it was finished, too.

It`s funny, when you are up that high, your brain has trouble processing it. It seems surreal. It`s more like seeing a movie or a picture of that hight than actually being that high.

A nice control chute and I`d try it. I`m done living the "safe as an insurance salesman" life.
