samurai werent always the nicest of people. when travelling the samurais would raid and pillage nearby farms along the road. so the farmers developed ways to defend themselves with what they had around. i used to take karate and trained with a bunch of different weapons, but i never used a milking bench.

"Apparently this is what happens when you have a weapon ban, people improvise and innovate."

I have a box full of
seat belt pretensioners. They can be easily modified into a 1 shot pistol. No car battery needed, a small 9 volt does just fine. Put a hole through the wall of a sheet metal building. Short range. More testing needed.

And nunchuks were used in rice harvesting.
Although I wouldn`t want to try any of that stuff on armored cavalry.

So ban guns, and maybe we`ll finally get plasma blasters. ;-)
