    Well that is definitely quite impressive but it looks like it would take a lot of patience to operate it.

    Anyway as structure is quite fascinating.I`ve allways tought that copyng animals body could lead to great results in machinery.

    Nice! Once they get the method down? Speeding it up is just a matter of technique. Don`t worry that "it`s so slow"!! Recall how fast motorcars were in 1902?

    @piperfawn: Big tractor engine. It`s probably noisy as all get-out too!

    "Speeding it up is just a matter of technique."

    Actually it is capable of going 10x faster now, but he does not have all the sensors necessary to to prevent (costly) damage in place yet, so he does not chance it.

    Below is an interview with the creator, it gives a lot of detail, go between 2 and 3 minutes you just want to know about the speed issues.
