@ MeGrendel, thanks. I thought "what`s a clone to do when the rebellion is over?" Obviously he`d hit the racing circuit with a military surplus speeder bike. The rest was just fun making it.

From a former model-builder (though I preferred aircraft), `Well Done`.

I especially like the Nascar treatment you gave the Speeder-bike.

Pretty nice gerry, but some tips for the next time you make a video... a nice white sheet in the background, with the rotating platform on it would be nice.. plus if you can get a tripod for your camera it would be steady through the shoot and give you some real professional finish that would mix well with transitions.
How did you first get into it?
I was a kid, it looked fun.
What would you say has been the hardest model?
Cars. Getting that perfect paint finish is difficult. There`s always dust or a cat hair that needs sanding out.
What was the first one you made (that you fully finished)?
How embarrassing, but it was Penelope Pitstop`s car. Don`t judge me! It was shiny, pretty and I was a little gay kid!

:) Well don Peabody.
I have a few unfinished as well
but if you tear them up enough, no one can tell if I did it right or not :)

Gerry - They`re awesome. Few questions:
How did you first get into it?
What was the first one you made (that you fully finished)?
What would you say has been the hardest model?

Oh wow, my son kept on exuberantly shouting, "I WANT THAT!" every three second.

Beautiful models but I really appreciated your spot-on mimicry of a ghetto paint job on the 64 Impala.

FPrussia - just kits. then add or modify to suit.

Holy hell, these are impressive. I agree with Sqrlz.

I hate to ask what might be a dumb question, but are you doing these with kits or are you kit bashing/building from scratch?

Carmium - Post a link, I`d enjoy seeing your model work. Architecture models? people? Nerdy space ships like me? Thanks for the compliment, but I`m just a mid-grade amateur. Just getting into lighting and it confuses me a great deal.

Gerry, anyone with a desk that crammed and a paint booth that crusted over must be a good modeler in my books! I hope it doesn`t sound self-serving if I say (as a professional model maker) that you do some very nice work.

Shuttle from the Enterprise shuttle bay

Lit and with people

patchouly, I can do a car in a week. Space ships take longer `cause there is a lot of weathering and detail. For the USS Constellation I had to blast holes in the hull, build rooms inside and build the engineering section.

I am currently working on a model that will take months. Ubber detail. Not just adding lights, weathering, but also I have lit shuttle bay with people and every station on the bridge will be visable and lit up. It`s the size of a quarter.

Here it is lit up

I shared his "model page" here, a while back. Gerry does some incredible work (far better than any models I`ve ever done).

How long does an average model take you, Gerry?
