    It`s harmonic motion. T=2pi(l/g)^(1/2). The fact that its swaying isn`t what is interesting, what is interesting is that the magical amplitude that caused the Tacoma Narrows to fall is naturally combated by the torsional strength of the plants stem. Science!

    I believe there is a string attached to it, just under the plants "flower".

    Or the frequenz of the plant makes it totally imbalanced.. but when it grows a little bigger it will either break or stabilize itself.

    But what do I know. I`m just an internet smartass
