Very surprising. I would have expected at least one `You`re gettin` fed to the f**kin` pigs, you f**kin` slag`.

Well done both of you.

Pretty sure that Audi guy got out to have a go at the cyclist, saw a camera attached to the top of the guy`s helmet and realised he was in the wrong so felt he had to be calm about it. Cyclist kept calm as well which helped matters though.

Wow, somebody`s anal about their car remaining unblemished. He might`ve been civil, but he`s still a colossal prick for trying to intimidate him.

Well done both of them for keeping they`re temper when it was obvious they both wanted a tantrum.

I say old boy, now look here, etc.
In UK it is extremely rare for an audi driver to be polite after cutting you up. Normally they are blissfully unaware that you even exist. Most of them take the banging noises on various parts of the car as part of the everyday driving experience, without realising what causes the noise.

Used to be like that all the time
but Chavs and `foreigners`
have kinda bit the gentlemanly way of sorting things out to the chase
Although have to say in the few accidents Ive been in
they have all been well mannered

Brit opinion - I`d have punched the poo out of the driver for cutting me up as a cyclist.

That`s not a British example, it`s a London example. Londoners are hilarious.

The Audi driver damn near bunted the cyclist (?) onto the sidewalk (well, "pavement" in England) and deserved a couple of raps on the car. I`ve had SO many people try to smack me off my motorbike like that I`ve run out of all patience.

normally i`d end up screaming obscenities and biting a hole in his cheek.

This is another option, i guess...

Isn`t it amazing how easily things can be settled when everyone is calm?

"Why didn`t you just slow down and wait for me to pass?"
"[completely calm down/beat] What do you mean?"

I lol`d.

Not sure if polite or bitingly sarcastic...(Insert Fry here).

WOW! They were both very angry to start off, but calmed down quite a bit as things progressed.

Canadians would have punched each other repeatedly (after politely waiting to get off the bike & remove his helmet), then apologized afterwards...

*punch* *punch* *punch* *punch*

"Oh, sorry I touched your car, eh?"
"No problem, I should have been more careful. Your nose OK?"
"Yeah it`s been broken a few times now."

& etc...

And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is what a civilized society looks like. The American equivalent would involve two pickup trucks, two handguns, and a whole lot of obscenities.

Oh I say, Rah-thur!
Ruffian manhandled my auto-mobile.
Afraid I had to give him `what-for`!
