This song goes great with that first cup of coffee. Trust me, just do it.

Well-played, sir. LOL.

I`ve never even been mad. Don`t care whether people like the song or not. Just remarking on a trend.

To all those who enjoyed this song: Clearly, you have excellent taste.

To all those who did not: May you roast in Hell on a bamboo skewer smeared with donkey feces.

that guy singing looks like that guy from the damed crossed with someone from spandau ballet. Alright song though. But I already drank my coffee, so it was pointless.

Gerry, your entire critique of the song consisted of:

Awful.

Now, if you`d offered a specific reason or input or criticism, then that`d be an opinion or discussing. As is, offering one word as a pejorative descriptor could, indeed, be considered an "attack or insult with no reason" (or at least given reason).

If I don`t like a post, I typically just move on to find something I do like. That`s my goal here. I guess I view it more as an entertainment site than an opinion site. If things actually do get "discussed," positively or negatively, then that can be cool, but seeing a plethora of random "this sucks" responses, however, makes me wonder if, as I originally speculated, some folks on this site just love to hate.

@Gerry and Howler: Now, now, y`all play nice.

My thoughts: Almost without exception, posts of music on here garner more negative comments than positive ones, and there`s a logical reason for this, I think. To put it mathematically, you`ll usually get positive comments only from those who judge the song a 9 or 10 (on a scale of 1-10), while you`ll get negative comments from those who judge it anywhere from a 1 to a 5. Negative comments are a lot easier to elicit.

That said, I do prefer it when people who dislike a musical submission either state "that`s not my taste" or offer a specific reason for disliking it, as opposed to simply stating, "This sucks."

For the record, I`ll agree with anyone that the song isn`t much for lyrics. It`s all about mood and ska-infused energy (as Geogypsy noted). Plus, the trumpet player is phenomenal, reputedly one of the best out there. And yeah, the Ewok outfit scores MAJOR points with me. =^.^=

@ Howler - "love to hate" ... no, but it is an opinion site. People post stuff and we duscuss. Sometimes {like now} there are flops that the majority don`t like.

"Hate`n" is when you just attack or insult for no real reason... like you just did because we didn`t like the song.

I get not everyone has the same taste, but I think people on this site just love to hate. I wonder what percentage of posts on this site have no overtly negative comments... Hmm...

This was a nice song. I don`t know what everyone`s problem with this was.

Plus, the woman was dressed like an Ewok, so... bonus?

@Squrlz...nice pic, she defo looks fuzzy friendly ;-)

Anyway, I love how complex music is getting, these guys classify themselves as drum `n` bass but I`m really enjoying the ska influence.

Hmph. Y`all are just filled with positive energy this morning, aren`t you?

That`s OK. I`ll keep Sinead Harnett all to myself. :P

Every time a man has said that to me I`ve regretted it.
This is no exception.
Awful.

@Geogypsy: Thanks! I`m glad you enjoyed it. Listening to this with a good cup of coffee has been my favorite way to get the day started lately.

Incidentally, I`m totally crushing on that backup singer. Her name`s Sinead Harnett and she looks totally squirrel-friendly. In her Tweets, she describes herself as kind of a hippy who would prefer to wear pajamas all day and is obsessed with writing to-do lists. My kind of woman! ~Squrlz swoons~
